Pre-marital Sex, Your Thoughts?

Ok, I was just going to ask for people's thoughts on premarital sex. I, myself, have been raised Catholic...And have been raised to believe it is a sin. I just wanted to hear other people's thoughts on it. So feel free to post what you think.

ALTHOUGH...I may have different views on it than my parents and catholics do.

 

As long as they know what they are doing, then go for it. But if they have no knowledge of it whatsoever, don't fucking do it.

Exploration is part of life. Marrige is such a questionable thing these days that i don't know what to believe. So in my opinion, you only live once, so zip down your pants and get busy.

Agreed. Lol, but anyway. I just think that doing something that was meant to be to produce a new peroson into the world, that having sex with a person you are not married to just isn't right. Because, you should be having sex with someone you really love and that you would actually have children with.

tbh sex is sex, have it if you want, dont have it if you dont want to.

Marriage is just an excuse tbh.

 

It's actually his personal decision which you should respect. I can say you don't go outside for having that username.

 

Ok, let's not turn this into a flame battle. Besides, I wouldn't have sex now...I'm 13 haha. I was just looking to see other people's view on the subject.

 

I say yes.

Sex is great, It relieves stress, and makes babies.

 

Religion is an excuse to be ignorant. To tie religion into whether you're allowed to have sex or not is stupid.

If you're ready then you're ready. If you're not then you're not.

It's that simple.

 

Well, if it is a part of someone's religion to wait. Then, they can believe that...I have always thought of it in several different ways...my opinion about it seems to change frequently. And most people seem to be fine with it. But, if I were in a situation where some was asking me if it were alright, I wouldn't tell them something against their religion. I'm not saying anybody did anything wrong here, because I asked for you guys' thoughts. And, I appreciate you posting them.

 

Its really the persons opinion. I personally think its wrong to have sex before marriage

I don't see whats so wrong with pre-marital sex? You were told it was wrong. Why is it wrong? Did they tell you that? Did they give you a stone tablet telling you that? There are so many popes and caridnals who were either

Lol, if your only worries are from a religious standpoint.. then don't worry about it, because of course, AS WE SHOULD ALL KNOW (stares down drew), there is no God. There isn't any rules that determine your salvation/damnation. Thrusting your penis into a lovely young woman will not make you a bad person, since (STARES DOWN DREW) it should be consensual. So yeah, if you can't get past your Religion, then there's nothing you can do. You can have sex, but you'll have to tell yourself that you're doing wrong.

Besides that, what other considerations should a person make? There's really nothing. Since there's nothing morally wrong with Premarital sex, all you have to do is wait until you're ready.

I can understand why it's bad from a religious perspective. 2000 years ago they didn't have birth control, so if you had sex then you were going to have a baby. So if a guy and a girl that weren't married had sex back then, then that guy could just leave the girl and the girl would have no way to support the child and the child would probably die. So with the whole religion thing, infancy mortality rates were greatly decreased.

But times have changed and we have birth control and abortions, so there isn't really anything wrong with pre-marital sex.
