Why are people so concearned....

I was botting today in the mining guild and watching over the bot because it's just a free one. Then after about a half hour of botting this guy ran by me saying he was trying to msg me and I didn't msg back so he reported me for botting. I tried messaging him to find out he had private on. I don't understand why people have to go out of their way to be tools...

 

If you bot, you should prepare yourself beforehand to get banned at any time with any amount of botting. I'm not saying you get banned every time (far from it) but don't do it if you're EXPECTING to not get banned. It's a waste of time if you honestly believe you don't deserve to be banned/reported when you're botting.

 

They wanna be mods.

 

its a joke, they think they'll become mods one day. How do the reports work anyway? Does Jagex investigate if enoug reports are filed or even 1 report?

 

I think they start looking into it when you have a number of reports on the account not just simply one.

 

Because people are jealous that they can't bot ;]

Well when i play runescape legit before the whole grand exchange thing. There was no way you can cut yew's or even fish anymore. Because all you see is lvl 3's botters lol.

To be fair i understand why people don't like botters. But to be honest. I don't care. Lol. As long as i wake up in the morning and i see that i made 1 mill for prety much nothing. Is enough to make me feel no sympathy for legit player's =p.

I personally never reported a botter. If i have to report anybody. Then it have to be those little 12 year old kid's cursing and trying to get a girl friend or boy friend in those Social world like world 3 lulz.

 

If you get caught botting it's your fault. I don't report bots that often, but if they're low level and obvious I will.
Most people do it because they want to be mods or think that botters are evil.

 

I used to use RSBOT, and when i was i scripted a responder script so that might help you out.

But yeah, kids are wanabemods and there ass holes.

Don't ever report! It ruins the scripts for everyone. Especially if you bot, i don't know why the hell you'd report people.

 

I try to make sure that they're using RSBot.
And anyways, less botters = more success for me.

 

That's why I leave my chat on friends.

I actually reported the guy who reported me for breaking real world rule: harrassment lol he kept msgin me and it was real real annoying.

I totally understand lol, I was at rock crabs playing legit - in the two crab spawn spot; and some guy said:

"Str lvl?" and not even two seconds later
"????" then right after like 1 second later i swear
"??botter???" Immediately followed by
"reported!"
The whole thing didnt take but 4-5 seconds...I said "At least give someone the time to respond." "before you go about reporting for nothing." "Not everyone likes to talk to nubs like you." Geez some idiot lol.
To add insult to injury I told him my strength level (I'm range based) and he's like "Fail!" >.<

 

I don't report fellow autoers, but I do mess them up if they get in my way.

Like someone else was autoing FMing at the same location that I was at and kept jumping in my way, so I stopped autoing and just made him drop his logs by making a fire right before he did. Free fm exp. I never had to refill an inventory.

 

i've been reported of 6 time because of botting they never whent through im sitll not banend on my main i think it's because he a member
