Why are Mexicans abused and hated in USA?

I'm from Australia so i really don't have a clear understanding on why they're classed as below-average in the USA?
What do they exactly do?

They provide cheap labor that no one in their right mind would work for here as their economy sucks, and they send all of their funds back to their home country so people that live there can survive.

The same reason the Irish, Native Americans, and blacks were abused and hated in the USA.

 

Because people think of them as pests that take all the jobs from citizens

Much the same reason the aborigines are abused and hated here..

They're outsiders, and because of their ethnicity they're seen as second class people.

 

Because instead of working together to fix their economy, they come here and take our jobs/money in order to help people who aren't part of our country/helping our country in any way.

 

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but I thought you said they worked jobs that no-one else would? So if they send the money back home, I can't see any harm done..

Most of the Mexicans that do that today were born into that shitty country by random chance. They had no more to do with why that country is so shitty than a person born in any other country.

The main reason that country sucks so much ass is because of it's infrastructure. They and many other countries use the same model of putting a few people on the top and calling them leaders, until eventually power corrupts and they get back to where they started. If drugs were all of a sudden legalized in Mexico, that would solve most of their problems right off the bat. Druglords would lose their monopoly control over the market and their prices and profit would go down as people would turn to safer places to acquire those drugs.

Part of the reason these people are in so much shit is because of American 'drug wars'.

You should be grateful you were lucky enough to be born elsewhere, and at least be compassionate enough to give these people a chance at a life like yours.

A lot of Mexicans come to America illegally since the countries border each other. This makes alot of Americans mad, especially in the south where there are a lot. People make fun of them because they're poor and will work for any price. All though the DO benefit our economy because they'll take any jobs.. the ones most Americans wouldn't, the government's immagration laws are getting harder and harder and taking drastic actions.

My mom had an illegal friend, he was caught and now he must wait 10 years before he can try to ever work towards a Visa, passport or some kind on citizenship.

 

Because people are just ignorant, and by the way not all the illegal immigrants are Mexican.

 

I myself,am proud to say that I am half Mexican.(Born in Texas of course.)
I really don't get harassed since my other half is Spaniard and I look somewhat white.The reason is because of hypocritical white minutemen.(Well that's not the only but one of the main reasons.)Back in the time around Columbus came and all Mexico (known as Mexica;pronouced meh-see-ka ) owned about all of North America.Well the British people came and killed many many Indians and proclaimed the land as theirs.They think Mexicans should be in their own country which is hypocritical because most Mexicans are indigenous to the continent.The United States has always tried to keep Mexico on the "downside" ad attempting to prove they are a "higher power" than Mexico or any other Latin American country.
Few short words;they think they are better than us.

 

They take the money from our economy and add it to their own.
