Whole of Staff Feedback

Can one of you bum asses clean up this thread. Didn't know the whole staff feedback thread was kings place to argue his decisions. If you have a problem with a staff member take it to PMs or their feedback....... y'all still bums.

 

DNT is like getting detained irl. You don't have to prove guilt to be detained. It's just a precaution that I believe is being used somewhat effectively to investigate cases further. If you're clean the DNT will be removed asap and boom everything is fine. More importantly, in bad situations it can help stop scammers.

 

Still can hinder the business of a legitimate trader, as the result of a setup. I'd even say if two or three false reports went up on an individual, lacking proof (Skype name, sythe PM), they'd be DNT'd for no good reason and probably miss a day of sales while the victim of an imposter scam keeps fumbling around in RAS crying.

 

I believe the mod responsible should be refunding the victim of the DNT 1 day of sales, which should range between $100-$500 if it turns out that it wasn't applied correctly. It's not the victim's fault that the staff member isn't capable of reviewing the case and is just triggerhappy on that DNT.

You can't implement financial liability, when A) Staff decisions are at the discretion of said staff. B) These are all volunteer positions - no one is getting paid to be held financially accountable.

A more practicable solution to the aforementioned is to educate/teach said staff members that may be consistently making the same errors. This coaching should come from older (read: how long said user has been staff) staff members, who have the knowledge to objectively asses cases, and are experienced in most genres of reports.

This would (hopefully) over time result in the staff team all being capable of tending to most issues.

We are investigating the report. You want a legitimate result, then it takes time.
We've told you this numerous times, and yet you remain disrespectful, impossible to work with, and trying to rush decisions.
again, please remain patient while we work out this situation.

 

No offense but i would happily wait and be respectfull but i got ignored by every question i made from the start.

Today dnts were revomed without a single update on the thread once again.
And yeah trying to rush them since no one is updating what is going on.

Just because you have a personal vendetta against a staff member who is susceptible of you (or whatever the case may be, I don't really care) does not mean it applies to the collective of staff, if even the one who caught you. Maybe if you tried being respectful, they might possibly act the same way?

 

I agree they definitely need to update you, but for example yesterday you posted asking for an update when it's been 4 days without a post. You did so fine and called out their actions without any public reasoning which was fine: that's an example of when to be annoyed. 2 hours later you posted saying it's too much to ask for a post. Mods have lives, jobs, etc. that's an example of being impatient and difficult to deal with. Had you been patient and willing to work with them from the get-go instead of assuming their ignoring you and licking t1nos ass after not replying for only a couple of hours (likely while Chloe was at work) this would probably be resolved, or at least they'd happily talk with you and keep you updated. Frankly if I was still a mod, I wouldn't want to deal with you.

you not only gave me a penalty when i hadnt broken any rules.
you then accoused me violating another rule, and locked my dispute thread.

last i checked, we dont get to moderator disputes against us. or atleast, thats how every other organization on the planet functions. another boss takes care of disputes against a boss unless you are the number 1 chair.


i highly recommend, for the good of your website, @Sythe you address this problem with your moderators violating the rules, and punishing the common users who report said conduct.


edit* hey heres a thought. how about @Sythe himself be responsible for all reports against any moderator. then they cant cover each other's behinds and pull what just occured to me, atleast without your consent.

 

well if we're not counting firez and astro, for the conduct that made me a meme on this site quite awhile ago. that leaves king. punishing me for reporting spam [because another mod was the one who spammed].

in before this comment gets tagged as spam and i get another infraction because i dare speak out against unjust uses of power.
