yea i'm not saying you should infract those posts as well. all those posts, including mine, were completely harmless, so why are you infracting them?

 

Because your post was reported & it is spam. Staff feedback is used for constructive criticism/praise. If you want to say hello to Charlotte you can PM her or contact her on Discord.
Your 3rd post was also deleted by Panda/Menno, so I'm not the only one who thinks those kinds of posts aren't warranted there.
They may be harmless but it's still considered spam.

Lack of communication seems to be a frequent occurrence with staff nowadays. Leave the owner of the feedback threads to do as they please with posts on their feedback threads.

 

Renters are NOT allowed to keep/seize people's banks I went through the account rentals section and saw that most the threads there contained in their terms of service the following or something similar to "anything left on the account will be mine"

I believe that people are just ignoring the sticky and it isn't being enforced.

The staff team has been in regime form for a while now. This causes reluctance when rulings are put into question, or if there is a disagreement amongst staff. Speaking up against a majority is futile and leads nowhere, especially if touched on by higher ranked staff members. Discretion leaves room for bias, and favors whoever is making the decision, even with irrefutable evidence presented. This makes it harder when there are obstinate staff members at the helm. It creates a trickle-down effect which subconsciously affects lesser ranked members, and induces fear of retaliation. With promotions being sought after, this magnifies the problem. A difference in opinion shouldn't be shunned, nor should it be silenced.

 

Are you referring to some specific situation? If unrefuteable evidence is presented, the case is handled as such.

We cannot codify every situation so staff discretion will always be a thing; however, we can minimize that discretion and possible bias by codifying offenses and by acting on controversial situations via a majority decision. A single individual does not handle such situations described and if there is a clear conflict of interest, they recluse themselves.

I cannot think of anyone on our staff team attempting to stifle one another's opinions. We may disagree, but we discuss it; however, that does not equivocate to a change in view.

If staff members are unable to share their opinion on a situation, that is their own doing. I and other staff members often go out of their way to get other's opinions on cases and we do not underwrite someone's opinion just due to their ranking. This extends to members as well and while community is welcome to give input on decisions, it does not necessarily equivocate to a change of overarching opinion.

I do not understand your attempt to tieing this to promotions. A majority is needed as the staff is a team-based unit and I'm not sure how sharing of opinions relates to the application in the first place.

Joshuag doesn't even get a DNT with 'no debt to pay' yet has ban evaded multiple times recently and made some accounts just to post "?" In RAS

How are these two people different that one would get denied but not the other?

Also similar, closer ban evades month before pardon and also pays a debt pardon accepted Closer requesting a pardon for Name Sniping

What I have in bold in the quote by Tyler means he was attempting to trade whilst having a DNT rank and would result in a ban for a week, so why isn't he banned or is this another rule that needs editing to make it clear?

Protector also mentions that Hahanerd middlemanned the repayment and unbanned him so was Hahanerd not aware of the situation or this rule I have mentioned? False TWC Dispute Pardon

 

You're absolutely correct and this was my fault, I completely forgot to tell HHN to ban him for 1 week + apply a TWC when he MM'ed the compensation for Protectors customer.

I've gone ahead and placed a week ban on him + his TWC will stay.

Won't happen again.

I also would have flared up if @JoshuaG didn't have a DNT and I do, but it turns out he does, after a quick profile check. May have added it after your post though, I assume.

AS FOR MY REASONS TO POST HERE:

Literally not a single staff member replies any more (excluding anyone lower than Global/Admin here, as I am unsure that the market mods, etc, would be able to help).

So i'll just post it here:
1. I have seen many DNT's post in the spam forum. Why can I not post? I have the option to create a thread, but no ability to comment on a post.
2. I'd like to know how my DNT was warranted. At the time of issue, I accepted the DNT as I thought it was an upgrade to being perm-banned. Now that I have had time to think about it, the original ban for "off-site blackhat activity", was around 2012~, around 5 years ago. Yes, in the past, I have ban-evaded. As I am sure many others have, and had a successful full-pardon. But if you've seen the work i've done on Sythe on @Peaceful1RS since being back, (check the now-closed vouch page), you can see I have only done good. I truly don't believe a DNT is warranted for my situation.

Blackhat rules have been relaxed, 5 years has passed without any damage, the original ban had NO victims, NO scams involved, NO repayments needed, NO damage to the community, I don't think I deserve a DNT in the least.

I'd love to have solid answers for these too, from a Global or Admin. Listing full and proper detail, since there has been such a lack of reply.

A couple of other irrelevant things that I was just wondering about:
1. Is it possible to transfer donor rank from one account to the other and close the account? (Eg.: Transfer the $50 donor status from @Peaceful1RS to @Inklyy, and close @Peaceful1RS?)
I'd imagine not, but thought it'd be worth the try.
2. I have the I<3N4N0 minirank on Peaceful1RS. I was around in his time as you now know and I do very much so remember N4N0 as a respected admin/member of Sythe. I don't want to use that account any more, and as a DNT, apparently you can't trade miniranks. Is there any chance of moving that singular minirank to this account?

As for actual staff feedback, I think the newly added moderators are a great addition, especially @Gen.
I would love to see a much higher rate of replies from Admins and Globals. It seems to be VERY hard to get a reply. I understand you guys are busy and have a life outside of Sythe, but when I have no reply from Admins/Globals after sending the message multiple days ago, I don't see an excuse for that.

I now have a better understanding of the blackhat rule so if this person doesn't get banned for doing what you did 5 years ago then your pardon should have been accepted RamMaster (blackhat)

But like I got told about on discord about what I said above there might have been more things staff found or discussed

 

If that were the case, my DNT would be understandable. But it isnt. The only thing I've done is off-site blackhat, and ban evaded. No harm in any of it, never scammed, etc.
So I'll be looking forward to a full response.
