[Whole New Market] Diablo III In-Game Store / Gold / Real Money.

People can purchase with their REAL money in-game items, also with their gold. This is a whole new market like RuneScape, so this is my suggestion to create a new Category and subforums about that.

Millions of people will purchase the game, use the trade system to buy items with gold, real money, etc., so there will be hundreds of threads selling/buying 'em.

That seems like a pretty good idea, I mean make money off of spawning items; how simple. What's the highest bid on a single item?

Why would you need a section for diablo 3 items, when there is already an auction house for it..

That's like making a market for WoW - with things you can buy on auction house.

You wont, because there will be millions of other people trying to do the exact same thing as you.
Rendering diablo gold / items almost worthless, down to 20-30c

Unless you play on Hardcore...Then the stuff would be worth real cash. Especially since there's a new difficulty called "inferno" where the bosses/monsters are always 110% more harder then your level.

 

As Lym said, this Auction House is actually bad news for anyone trying to make money off Diablo 3 Currency/Items.

The Auction House oversaturates the market with both buyers and sellers. Due to 0 transaction risks and low (or no) barriers to entry, there will be no money to make by merchanting in the Auction House.

 

Don't mean to grave dig if this post is too old but I just found out about the real money AH in D3. I have never played a diablo game (except WAY back a console diablo 1 I believe). BUT, given the fact that Blizzard will charge both a posting fee (in real money I assume if your selling the item for real money) and of course a friendly AH tax on anything that sells (in some games this AH tax is anything but friendly and I've seen up to 30% of the selling price being taken).

I think that if the Blizzard taxes imposed are high enough, a sythe section that is tax free and just more homely feeling will be necessary. I mean I would rather cut deals with people, sell items together or trade items for items on sythe if I could.

No, they want guys from Sythe to earn money using D3 Auction, lol.

So easy to understand. They want all to be "legit" in-game, NOT out-game in blackmarkets.

 

Really ?? I thought blazzard only permit players buy from the auction . I think i need to read the infos about D3 auction again .

 

I really should put more thought into things like this, I need to get more involved in Diablo.

 

The AH gives a wide market.

But you can avoid all fees by listing items on sythe if you want gold for items.. Then you can place gold onto the AH to sell for real life cash.

If you wanna make money, you're gonna need to have to understand how it works n shit..
