28k players online, that is the lowest I've ever seen. Granted it's still way way early. But it was 60k before update. It's been an hour since update, so you'd think they'd trickle back in.

Do you think a high number of people will actually quit?

 

Most of those are bots not being able to play now due to the update.

 

Very keen observation. I personally like EoC and hope the number continues to climb. I saw it go back to 36k. Which for early morning sounds about right.

I haven't logged in in a few days. Part of the reason was I got cleaned, the other was EoC. I wasn't this bothered about it until I actually tried it, I found it really complicated.

I don't plan on logging on for a while, eventually I will though.

 

Did you go through the tutorial? I played it when the beta was in its infancy, and hated it.

But a week or so ago I forced myself back into the beta, did the training academy, and am actually quite pleased with it now.

I bought the account actually, and I guess my friend did the tutorial for it.

I get cleaned a lot, no big deal, lost 1.5B, not fussed really as market was too crazy for me, stressed me too much. Investing was just out of the question, I didn't want a phat as it would crash after EoC (Haven't botherd checking though, but it should).

That made it A LOT easier for me.

And yeah, Partyhats will definitely not rise, I see them dropping. Purple + Yellow have already started to.

 

Why would rares crash after eoc?

 

Probably will stay the same or drop a little. People will be more eager to sell them off if powerful weapons and armor is released into the game, which Jagex said was going to happen.

 

Not to mention Bandos, Torva and Pernix were crashing. They will recover, and when they do, rares goes back down. The bubble pops. Then there's the fact that bots stopped working, even if it's temporary, it will cause panic in the rare market, and prices of supplies will increase.

 

Great more armor, I can barely keep up with the ones now...

 

This made me chuckle, I'm not complaining about dual wields. And perhaps once PowerBot up and running you'll see a higher fluctuation of online players.
