    Who was - "Jack the Ripper"?

    *This is a debate on who the most likely suspect was "Jack the Ripper"*
    *Almost like a 'whodunnit'

    We will never know this answer for certain but it does make an interesting debate.

    If you haven't a clue what I'm talking about, then read the information below;

    Information
    "Jack the Ripper" was an infamous serial killer, actually the most well known serial killer in history. Although we do not know the true identity of the murderer, "Jack the Ripper" is a pseudonym as we do not know his real name. "Jack the Ripper" lurked the streets of Whitechappel (1880's) and favoured killing prostitutes in very malicous methods. He removed the organs of his victims, which gave the Police a theory in which the murderer was a deranged doctor. The serial killer claimed to five proven victims, but possibly had killed a total of 16. ..[read more]

    Victims *in order of decease*
    (You must be aware that some of these images are EXTREMELY gory. They are real photographs taken at the scene of the investigation, click at your own risk)

    Mary Ann Nichols

    Annie Chapman

    Elizabeth Stride

    Catherine Eddowes

    Mary Jane Kelly

    Remember, these are only the proven victims. "Jack the Ripper" had possibly murdered many more

    Main Suspects

    Montague John Druitt

    George Chapman

    Aaron Kosminski - Strong Suspect

    John Pizer

    Francis J Tumbletly - Strong Suspect

    I hope you enjoyed learning about British history, please don't get nightmares
    just think, he would have been dead for over a century now ;)

    I'll start the debate off;

    I think the real murderer was Francis J Tumbletly. He is an uneducated doctor whose hatred for women was well known. He divorced his ex-wife
    as she was a prostitute. He was most likely capable of performing the murders and the killings stopped when he fled to the USA after Mary Jane's discovery...

    Ah, the mind of a seriel killer is the most interesting mind of all.

    As for a hypothesis on who the killer was, I have not one.
    I find the way seriel killers think and work are so rather...interesting though.

    I am going to go with your suspect. I think it was him as the evidence points directly at him and he has the traits on the serial killer

    I think I'll have to agree with your suspect. The fact his ex-wife was a prostitute really did it for me, considering the victims.

    Francis J Tumbletly in the Library with the Candlestick.

    (Francis is my guess. His past fits his crimes.)

    Who was - "Jack the Ripper"?

    It was Montague John Druitt, he is the most obvious alone, yet when his father's medical practitioner came into play that is what does it. He has the tools, and his jobs were done sloppily, so he must have watched his father...
