I just went 0-9 with Morgana in mid, DANG I feel terrible.

 

Morgana or Brand.

Mid should always be an AP carry. No reason for AD to go mid. They should be bot with a support.

 

Morgana or brand, both can farm very easily and can let the AD carry go bot with the support.

 

Morgana probably with her anti-CC shield and excellent farming capabilities

I've heard that Talon (against casters) and Urgot are also good with their harass

 

I think you are all forgetting about Malzahar.

 

Why isn't Nocturne in there? I can always get a kill with him!

Malzahar is useless if the other team gets QSS. Your mid/late game is ruined by that.

Morgana/Brand/Zilean/Karthus/Kennen are all extremely solid picks. I'd go with them over anyone else.

 

I do manage to get hellalot of kills on mid tho, I mean, rangers are most common but some idiots pick melee's regardless.
It does work! Got 17/0/4 yesterday by doing that single thing!

To be honest, most people don't know how to fight against Heimerdinger, which allows for a serious farm on his part.

When I run Heim, I can leave a turret behind as necessary to port back to base, and my tower takes minimal damage. Heim can also heal towers over time, meaning that "hugging" in threatening situations is still beneficial.

I find that only a very strong Karthus is a hard counter for Heim - which no one chooses, nor runs mid lane with. Scare away the rest of the champions with strong rocket play [900 range] and your turrets will clean up the minions. Two ultimates, with two turrets hitting the enemy tower and it falls.

Additionally: Karthus is a strong mid if your team is set on feeding Karthus. Call out kills with an early Karth ult, and level 4's will die very early in the match if they aren't playing safe [enemy team.]

 

Kassadin is by far the most dominate mid. He cannot be shut down

 

I seem to do rather well with Teemo or Ashe mid.

 

His early game is absolutely horrible, but he trades that for his godlike mid game and still great late game.

It's surprisingly easy to shut down a Kass that isn't extremely good very early on.

 

Just send a gp or cait mid and then kass can't do shit.
