Who actually bothers with PVP?

I only really enjoy PvP when I am against (or with) someone I know.

 

Yea, then you got screwed. Pking was at its prime in 05-06. Then in 07 the wild basically got shut down and different versions of it came back until it's "true" form came back in 2011ish.

In that time period, a lot of the older, more mature, veterans quit because the game became shit. Instead, you got a younger generation which hasn't impacted the game in a positive aspect.

Plus, the introduction of claws, gs, korasi, chaotics, new mage spells. Basically, WoW like weps but not in a WoW setting. Which turned the game into a rush/pj fest since it was much easier to rush someone instead of actually fight for loot.

Alpha hasn't released yet, still fixing a bunch of bugs and such, should be out in a month or so. They've gone through pre-alpha, happened during the summer and a few stability tests. Hell of a server as well as a job coding everything from scratch due to not wanting to get in a lawsuit with Jagex.
