Anyone else watch The Newsroom? It's a bit full of itself but Sorkin's (the writer) killing it again and I think it is a good critique of the media and current events, plus the characters are great.

I watched a couple episodes. The opening was amazing, but I haven't watched any new episodes lately since I'm preoccupied with Prison Break. But, it seems like a good show, and I do like characters. In particular, Emily Mortimer, and Dev Patel. Maybe I'll watch it after I'm done with the show I'm currently watching.

I agree emily and dev are both great. Dev actually starts investigating "trolling" towards the end of the season lol. Anyway, imo the opening is amazing, rest of ep1 and ep2 go down a bit, but episode 3/4 reveal the main purpose of the show and it gets really good from there.

Gets you thinking about ethics and conflicts of interest in american politics.
