Which would be faster?

I have two options. Would it be faster for me to level a DK from start to 80, or to level a 14 rogue to 80 with RaF? We'd be instance grinding till 60, then I'd be solo questing till 80.

 

I would definately go for the Rogue with RaF. This is because you can only do it up to 60, and then you'll still have the DK there for later. I have a level 80 Rogue, and I got my DK from 58-65 in 1 day. Really, it's not that difficult to level, and all my leveling was done without RaF.

You could be 55-80 DK in just 2 weeks if you really wanted, but it's your decisions. I just don't like DK's because they're not GREAT in PvP, but they surely do have their perks.

Surely I'd go with a Rogue, but use your own judgement before doing so.

DKs start at 58 (after the quests). You'd be solo questing on your Rogue at 60, so...do you think you can get 14-60 in the time it takes a DK to get 58-60?

 

It takes only 4-5 hours to get a Death Knight from 55-60. It really doesn't take that long, but it's the cheap way out. Really, if you want something good, you'll go for the Rogue, as it would be a more difficult task in obtaining level 80.

Whatever you do, just go with what you feel is right. :]

 

Well I've personally leveled almost every class of character to 80, short warrior and I don't plan on doing that any time soon. A DK is the only character I've never got to 80, and I have an account that can make a DK. About how fast do you think I could get from 55-80, and is there any guides you know of to speed it up a bit?

 

To get 55-80, I think it would take about 2 weeks tops, but most likely less, seeing as it is summertime.
*This is based on the assumption that you play at least 8 hours a day.

Obviously the Death Knight will be easier to level than the Rogue, as getting 55-60 is much quicker than 16-60. As you have never leveled a Death Knight to 80 before, perhaps you just need to get that accomplished and over with.

You may also install the Curse Client, found here, and install QuestHelper. I'm certain you know about this all already, however, for you have every Class to level 80, with the exception of the Death Knight.
