    Shirts Like Ralph Lauren?

Probably a weird thread to post here, but I don't ever post on reddit, and know some people around here dress nice judging from the shoes thread.

Okay, I've always been a cheapskate as far as clothing goes, 10 dollar Wal-Mart pants, 5 dollar shirts and stuff. But recently I've gotten a pretty good job, and started a family and stuff and I'm starting to enjoy the better things in life.

Anywho, Ralph Lauren is WAY too expensive for me. But I did have a regular cotton polo tshirt, not a polo or anything, just a tshirt, and this is byfar the most comfortable tshirt ive ever worn in my entire life. Its soft as margarine, and breathable, but also thick and nice quality. Which confuses the hell out of me. I want more shirts like this, but not with a 30-50 dollar price tag.

Question is, what makes these shirts so breathable, soft, and nice compared to other shirts? And where can i get cheaper shirts of the same quality? Firmly believe people pay extra for the horse and there ARE shirts like that out there that are just plain colored shirts.

I recently bought a Guess shirt... Softest shirt I've ever owned. It was about $22 on sale so not exactly the cheapest shirt but if you want something of quality you're going to have to pay for it

Also, I bought an hm v neck that was VERY soft but after 1 wash it faded.

Try shopping at T.J. Maxx if you have one.

I've gotten tons of Ralph Lauren Polo's there. If another store overstocks or the designer over-manufacturers they hop onto it and buy cheap and sell cheap.

Can't exactly suggest a brand by your description, but I've worn some pretty comfortable clothing by Uniqlo. They have some basic clothing articles that you can't go wrong with and the quality is good for its price. Very cheap, as well.
