Can someone fill me in please?

Hi, I quit runescape when EOC was introduced (w/o trying it >.>) and I recently joined back when '07 came.
However I wanna play EOC again lol, but there's so much new stuff.
please can someone fill me in every major update

Going through every major update would be difficult, however the main things to note is that a lot of equipment has new stats, Strength bonuses have been removed, so the additional damage now comes from critical hit which can have their chance of happening improved by wearing equipment that increases your critical hit %.

Chaotics are no longer the strongest weapons either, There is now Drygore weapons. However, only the Longsword, Mace and rapier alongside their offhand versions were released. These are obtained from drop from the new boss, The Kalphite King or from buying from players.

There has also been a few new quest releases, major ones at that. The most important one to mention (IMO) would be The World Wakes. Man, is it just me or is EOC becoming more and more like MapleStory. Used to play that game for years until the Big Bang update was released. That's why I quit MS.

Welcome back to EoC. Actually, there's nothing to catch up as if Jagex make a huge update. The only change that has been made is the Combat System. They say that if you already have some experience in playing WOW then you won't have any problem understanding this new EoC combat system.

Since many pre-EoC players like you had quit the game upon the release of the update, Jagex tried to make a few adjustments. They have added the skill called 'Momentum'. This is a type of skill that you will surely like if you really prefer the single-click attack type of style when fighting monsters. Recently, Jagex had even removed the requirement of filling-up the energy bar before you can activate this particular skill. You can now directly activate momentum as long as your character is not engage in combat.

Succeeding updates that has been made are just holiday items just like the usual updates that they have been doing in the past.

If you want combat with a change, play EoC. If you want to grind and click and point, play 07. PvM = EoC, PvP = 07' Pretty much, if you want to have a challenge against monsters do EoC, but if you want to have oldschool PKing do 07.
