    Santa as an investment?

Hey guys. I was just wondering what you think of the santa hat as an investment in rs? I was thinking of buying either that once I get enough cash.

I've basically got two things on my mind:
    1) Might I actually lose money? It went down 2m today.
    2) Could I sell it for more profit during Christmas and re-buy a month after? (Christmas spirit!)
    3) Would a Green Mask be better/ more safe? (Looks worse though :/ )

    thanks for any input guys.
also, what are the prices of each on the street?

Yes whenever you buy a rare when it is going down you stand a chance to make a profit once it is merched backup.

Santas will always be an investment as long as they stay untradable items, while they may have gone down 2m today give them a few days or weeks and they will be back up again. You just have to remember that rare items are long term investments. Expect to make profit over a few months not days.

Oh, absolutely. I'm planning on keeping it for months. I actually have no long term plans of selling. I just need to do something with my money :/

Merch santas until about a week before Christmas, then dump them. I did this last year with 10 santas and almost tripled my money.

    Santa as an investment?

I have been investing in santas and other rares for a while and so far (or would have made) $150 from it. I did get scammed though but still got a handful of santas that I am just holding on to as long as possible. Always going to go up. ;)
Best bet would be santas. Disks would have been a great investment back then as they skyrocketed a couple months ago.
Either way Christmas will come up which santas will rise at that time as well. Stock on some right now. Don't worry if the price deflation happens, as they will always inflate over the years.

    Santa as an investment?

Santa hats have had an enormous growth in regards to its price in the past few months.

I personally think it is a great investment for low budget players.

The price of it has inclined more then it has declined.

For example, I bought my Santa hat for around 83M and my 'investment' has doubled. ;)

    Santa as an investment?

Santas usually go down way before xmas, last year is an exception though as free trade caused their crash.

    Santa as an investment?

The Santa has been going up for years. It's an untradable, so it will never drop in price, yet continue to go up.

    Santa as an investment?

a santa will always go up in profit of rsgp but usually not $ because as the prices for rares increase the money per mil decreases so itll be about the same so if you are looking for rsgp investment its a good one but if ur just gunna sell the rsgp not worth it hope this helped :)

    Santa as an investment?

Rares usually go up in the longterm, as the amount of them can only decrease, and more hoarders will get ahold of them, so as long as you are willing to hold on to it until at least Christmas, you should turn a profit.

    Santa as an investment?

This is exactly right. Santa has increased to more than 10x their value in a very short period of time.

I bought my first Santa for 50k, and a couple of others not too long after 500k each.

Long term they will only go up, it just depends how long you are willing to wait.
