Windows 7 has worked the best for me and I've upgraded from every release since windows 98. Vista wasn't too terrible, I never had a bad experience with it besides a few performance and crash related issues, compared to the bitching some people spewed out. 7 is just perfection in my eyes, although there's nothing like the good old XP.

I had nothing but problems with Vista.... It would just never work the way it was supposed to until service pack 2, to be honest. :/

I prefer Mac OS for its safety and cost, but Windows computers are WAY cheaper and have better stats.

Ubuntu or Linux if I knew the language, but I don't

So Windows wins, probably XP over W7

Mainly use windows 7 at home and windows xp at school :D find both great :D.

Have also used a mac a few times but never really got a long with it as much as windows :D.

Windows 7 at home, just because I find the file sharing to run the smoothest on this system.

Ehhhh I can not remember the exact form of Linux, but Linux for sure when I am coding.
