[Food] Carls Jr. - Texas BBQ Thickburger

Price paid: $7.29 pretax for a small combo using a $1 off coupon and getting the 1/3 pounder.

Deals: I always get away with just telling people the code. $1 off any combo: 9605. Two for one Texas BBQ Thickburger (August Mondays only) : 9691.

They have three different sizes ranging from normal to 1/3 to 1/2 pound. I got the 1/3 pound using the coupon code on the website for $1 off a combo




I'll start off with the fries. I didn't take a picture of the fries but they were bland. When I got to the salty fries, they tasted good but of course they had too much salt. Whatever, at least they weren't BK fries.

The drink, which you can see some of it in the picture, was GIGANTIC. I don't think he gave me a small drink. I hope he didn't. They had a lot of flavors though, so that was neat. Wish they had the fancy machine with bonus flavorings.

The burger. Was. Awesome. Amazing. Astounding.

Use that 2 for 1 coupon and bring a friend. You probably don't have any, so just save one in the fridge for later.

This burger will probably be the best item at Carl's Jr. The only thing that would make this better is some sort of habanero sauce. It'd be a 6/5 then.

I don't want to say too much about it. Everything stands out. Stubb's BBQ sauce, fried jalapenos, fried onions, brisket, beef, cheese, buns.

5/5 with my seal of approval.

Buybuybuybuy... ignore everything else. I feel like I've said that on quite a few things, but it's really true in this case.

They're two for one right now. I'm so hungry as well, though. Posting this did not help. I couldn't even write a review because thinking about it would make me hungry. It was painful.

It has the same name everywhere and is available at all Carl / Hardee's. There appears to be different versions on the website, one that says (TX) and one that doesn't. I have no idea why this is, since they look to be the same.

A lot of people. They wouldn't have coupons that change every month if they didn't. They wouldn't have an app, neither would 7/11, neither would McD, etc. with tons of downloads. The purpose of said app is to distribute coupons. If you pay with a CC that reveals your address, you get coupons in the mail. If you're paying full price for fast food, that's your choice. A lot of the expensive burgers are buy one get one free. There is always at least one. It's your choice if you want to waste money on fast food, or spend money on fast food.

I choose to spend.

Edit: If you don't use coupons at pizza places, then you are legitimately special.
