Has anyone purchased from iBUYPOWER? Plus gaming PC Question.

Has anyone ever purchased a computer from http://www.ibuypower.com? I've always seen their site around and checked it out many times, but never purchased anything from there. Now that my gaming pc has died, I want to buy a new one, just without the hassle of making it. The site looks really well made, I just want to know if these guys are trustworthy?

I'm wanting to buy this PC, seeing as it's not too costly ($499 without extras)
    http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/ASUS-M32BF

But I want your all's opinion if it's worth it, and what kind of games it could run and on what settings do you think?

If you don't want to go to the link, it's specs:

    DISPLAY- ASUS M32BF Case
    CPU- AMD A6-6400K APU (2x 3.90GHz/1MB L2 Cache)
    RAM- 4 GB [4 GB x1] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - Major Brand
    GPU- AMD Radeon R7 240 - 2GB - ASUS M51AD/M51BC
    Primary Hard Drive- 2 TB HARD DRIVE -- 7200RPM - M32BF
    Data Hard Drive None
Video: AMD Radeon HD 8470D Integrated Graphic

My personal opinion...avoid AMD's APU processors at all costs for gaming or intensive tasks. While they're not awful, they're generally much less powerful than the FX CPU lineup, and WILL be a bottleneck for your GPU in games. They make great CPUs for basic pc's or home theater PC's...but I'd avoid them for much else. They simply haven't evolved enough yet....a die shrink is badly needed for them. Even the top A10 is lacking in performance for its price, though the integrated graphics on the APU lineup is rather stellar for what it is.

I personally wouldn't buy that rig, and certainly do not consider that as a gaming rig but rather a multimedia rig with those specs. Thats just my thoughts.

Alright, thank you for your input! The website it probably selling to a general audience and not really "hardcore pc gamers" or something. People will say anything is a gaming PC these days, and people will just up and buy them.

Newegg.com sells alot of their items. I seriously considered buying a couple of their rigs, as you can find some nice ones at a decent price. I heavily investigated all of the reviews and stuff, overall they seem like a nice seller.

As for your specs, I'm not a big AMD fan when it come's to gaming, it's basically my personal preference. I prefer Intel.
I'm going to suggest you get AT LEAST 8gb RAM. 8 will do for light to moderate gaming, maybe consider stepping up to 12-16, depending on what you plan on doing with it.

If you have a budget, I'll link you to a couple rigs that I would suggest.

Also, what game are you going to run the most?

I'm kinda broke, being a Junior in Highschool who just blew all his money on his girlfriend, but I can get around $600 dollars tops, maybe $700 if I really want it.. I kinda wanna just run like, modern games, like Call of Duty, and maybe Battlefield if the settings are dropped? I'm kinda tired of playing Counter Strike: Source and RuneScape since it's the only games I can play, and my steam collection has over 100 games just rotting away.

8GB ram is max necessary for ANY type of current gaming. I personally haven't seen my rig's usage peak any higher than 6GB EVER except when stability testing my RAM after overclocking it. It won't be long, though, before it may be needed. But as of yet I've seen no use for it in even the most extreme of games. And I'm one of those people that runs my system monitoring software(hwinfo64 & MSi Afterburner) as soon as I boot my computer, and never turn it off.

My suggestion would be to pick up an fx 6350 and compatible am3+ socket mobo or an I3-4150 w/ a b97 or h97 mobo, 2x4GB RAM...1600mhz will do fine, a decent HDD, a solid 520-600W power supply with a strong 12v rail, a cheap case like the entry-level cooler masters, and choose your poison of GPU. An r9-280x is a good place to start if you must buy one right now, being at $200. An even better deal would be a used r9-290x for about the same price . I would personally wait 1-1 1/2 months for the new upcoming GPU's though...that's just me.

You SHOULD be able to build all of this hopefully right around $700 or so, and it should play your games of interest with very nice settings and framerates. Bear in mind though that call of duty tends to run like crap even on rigs with much more power than is required. Poor optimization is the root of this.

I had a close friend who bought a laptop off of ibuypower for around 2k, the system wasn't really bad but I think that most people have a hard time justifying spending $2000 on a laptop. I'd say if you are looking to save a lot of money you should buy the parts yourself and make a good desktop.

That what I originally planned was to make one, but seeing as you can pick out parts and pieces and they'll do it for you, I figured I'd let them handle it.

$700 isn't too shabby, I just may do that. :) And yeah, I'm not a fan of Call of Duty personally, it was just an example. :p

Wowowowow! Ding ding ding, I'm getting the Vanquish II. That's gorgeous, and lifetime support? Definitely won me over. Thank you very much for showing me this website.

I really don't want to risk messing something up, I did last time and totally regret it. :/

Don't be worried about it. The only thing you need to do is buy an anti-static wrist band, ground yourself to something that is grounded well...and put it together. the pieces will ONLY go in their respective places, it's quite simple. If any questions or problems did arise, you could ask here and myself or several others would be happy to help. It is much less difficult and less scary than it sounds. just take your time, and the only thing I can suggest is that you don't have to crank every screw super tight. Run it in til it is just snug, then give each screw an extra 1/16 of a turn and you're fine.

It's a lot of fun, it teaches you a lot in return, and it will give you more appreciation for your machine. Plus, for the money you'll get a FAR better machine than a pre-built.

and remember, every part you buy has a warranty. you can simply return it as "DOA/Defective" if the part doesn't work for any reason at all.

A below-par build for a budget of $500 I'd say. iBuyPower is a CS:GO team in NA, never heard they sell PCs o_O

Hmmm, I'll look in to it. There's just so many pieces and parts to buy, it would be so hard to keep up with in my opinion.

Wow, really? I always heard about them selling PC's but nothing about CS:GO.

ibuypower is a huge sponsor in esports so they're most definitely reputable, but like other have said you're going to pay more than what the computer is worth just because it comes premade in a neat looking case.
