    Fuck.

So, I got all my new things yesterday for my PC, They came today as I payed for.

Here are the things i got before move onto the problem:

    700w power supply
    Artic freezer 7 pro rev2
    Antec 300 case

The other things don't matter, They aren't hardware.

So, I put all of it together hook it up to my T.V via VGA. And my T.V says no signal.. I've tried almost everything now. It's starting to annoy me. Cost me around £198 to get this stuff.

    Anyone have any ideas?

You're going to have to be more specific. Does it POST? Did you do a GPU upgrade? What GPU are you using? Have you verified it isn't the cable or the VGA input on your TV?

    Fuck.

Are you trying to use dual monitors? Did you set the TV source to the VGA cable? etc, etc.

No, it doesn't post. No i didn't. I'm using a GTS450. And i've tested both my cables on other pc's and they are fine.

No, I'm not and yes, checked and re-checked. Everything is connected and setup correctly.

Is the fan spinning up on the graphics card? The only thing I can think of out of the upgrades you did that would cause any problems would be your PSU. Highly doubt a new case/cooler had any effect on your components you already had, unless you killed them somehow when you moved everything to your new case/installed the new cooler.

Also, what error code (beeps) do you get during the POST/what is your motherboard?

See for yourself. Nothing is wrong. I honestly don't get it.

I'm pretty sure it's just the bios battery tbh.

    Fuck.

Does your TV have HDMI, try that?
Or try a different cable, or different TV/monitor.

BIOS battery if it was flat it wouldn't post properly at all.

I'll help more when I'm home from school.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it isn't the battery but it might be worth trying. How about you put in all your old hardware and see if everything works.. then we can narrow it down (hopefully) but like I said I see no reason why changing your case/cooler would have an effect on anything, which pretty much leaves your new PSU to be the possible culprit unless I'm missing something. If it all your other hardware is unchanged, that would seem to me to be the likely faulty part, followed by your GPU and then finally the motherboard.

If your motherboard has a clear cmos button, use it.

    Fuck.

Done that 1000 times. And oh, thank god it isn't that then.

I have tried it. Didn't work. As for putting all my old hardware in... As you said all i changed is the psu and if i put my old on in it will blow up, my new one is 700w my old one is shit and it's like 350w.

Have you been reading the thread? I can't see anything at all let alone boot into windows and change stuff, if i could do that I wouldn't have posted this thread..

    Fuck.

You should probably RMA the PSU then. How were you powering all of that previously on a 350w?

I'm trying to help you here, being snooty about shit isn't the best way to motivate me to help you further.

You said that those 3 items in the OP were the only things you upgraded, how was I supposed to infer that you were not being entirely truthful? What else have you upgraded that you neglected to mention?

RMA = fancy way of saying get it replaced or return it

Sorry, I'm just really stressed out. Also I really don't think it's that otherwise nothing would be running, would it?

Thanks for your help so far everyone.

    Fuck.

Tell me what else you upgraded other than the 3 components you listed in the OP. Since you said you were not powering all of that with a 350w PSU earlier, obviously you had to change something in the midst of changing from the 350w to the 700w. Tell me what that change was, or I can't help you.

    Fuck.

I'd try slipping that GFX card into another PC to see what goes on. I've had GFX cards getting power and not work overnight. I'm guessing you've upgraded it recently and was not able to power it with your old PSU, therefore bought something with more power. So it may be fucked from the factory.

Also check the leads to your cables and make sure none of the pins are missing (Has happened to me).
