    Best language to start?

I want to learn Pascal, But I'm a newbie so I would like to know what language should I start with on my road to Pascal?

I would also like to go into VB, Java, Javascipt, C#, C++ and have heard Python is good to start with.

    Best language to start?

I actually started with TI-Basic for a high school class.
Advanced pretty well and make some really sick, extremely helpful programs. Bought myself the new TI-Nspire and I found out the stripped the programming feature. I was so pissed.
But anyway, the language you start with is entirely up to you.
Python is more of a scripting language but it is very easy. I had a blast with python and I'm all for starting with it.

My biggest recommendation is signing yourself up for a language specific forum and ask a ton of questions and post the code your working on.
When you first program you will find yourself making a lot of rookie mistakes and your code will probably be very messy. (Odds are you will be end up with some spaghetti code.)
If you post code snippets on forums and ask for advice you'll be an expert in no time -.^
