Which car is the cheapest to insure?

I'm really looking for car insurance and i'd like to know a cheaper car to insure. Thanks

 

I think insurance mainly depends on age..? but yeah, not 100% certain.

 

Go for one with a small engine around 1.2-1.5 liters.
I have found these tend to be the cheapest to insure and also go for one which is economical to run because some cars get taxed more or the insurance is more expensive because of fuel efficiency.

it would help if there was some more info about you.... like age range? male female? any prior wrecks?? are you buying a brand new car that would have to have full coverage insurance on it?? or just liability? ect.

 

If your a male its about x2 more then it is for a female.
Engine size has a pretty deep impact on car insurance also the year and sometimes make of the car.
If Speeding tickets and DUI's are on your record then its boosted up a lot also.
Also reliability is a lot cheaper then full coverage, i have a friend who has a 2004 grand Cherokee Jeep and about 5 speeding tickets w/ distracted driving (ipod use). His reliability is $110 a month. He would have to pay about $450 a month for full coverage.

get a old toyota/honda car. im only 1 - 2 years experience and only pay 50$ a month for insurance.

 

cheap car
no mods (supercharger, turbo etc)
small engine (don't get v6 or v8)
have a clean driving record
The older you are the better
have your full license, not learners or provisional
If it's a cheap car only get 3rd party insurance so if you crash into someone's Aston Martin you can pay for it
helps if you haven't made any previous claims

 

get a 1-1.3 litre, try get parents on it as well, it dropped my insurance from 2000, to 850, weird i know.

Also side note, if you get a speeding ticket like me, don't threat you may receive a invite to a course about speed awareness which in turn costs a little more then a fine but you receive no points on your licence.

 

Depends on your age, driving experience, and type of car you drive, usually you can get cheaper insurance on smaller cars. I don't pay my own insurance yet (since I don't have a car and hardly get to drive my rents cars) but my friend pays 100 dollars a month for insurance driving a neon, he also has been in a few accidents so his might be a little higher then a person with no accidents.

A coup of some sort I am sure. Nothing huge or fast, just something sensible. I am on my parents insurance and it is like around $75.

 

insurance pricing is based on original car pricing so the cheaper the car the cheaper the insurance

 

or if you really can't afford insurance, get a moped. my friend pays $80/year on insurance lol

The cheapest I've got quoted atm is £2,800 that was on a 1.1 litre.

i also found it strange. Another way to get cheap insurance is shop around.

I was quoted ~$500 a month (f***k that!) by 3 different company's. Then the 4th company I called quoted $150 a month, and my car is insured for $4000 more than it's worth.
