Thats stupid imo, being the richest person in the world isn't going to matter when you get caught doing illegal things. They should be more like Oprah, shes rich, and famous! And as far as I know doesn't do anything illegal.

The wealthiest man alive I do believe, is Carlos Slim - mexican.
He's estimated to be worth $74.1 B, over 15B richer than Bill Gates who comes in at #2.

Sure, drugs can make you money, but... There's major consequences for your actions.

If Fuentes has 45B, he isn't the richest; Slim, Gates, Buffett, and the others have more. A major investment bank did research on Putin and said he has over $100 Billion in personal funds, as well as access to hundreds of billions more through government ties.

So the richest people are people who lost their money and don't have as much as others? Maybe I'm reading this wrong. Also Gates gave like, half his fortune away to charity a few months ago?

 

Bill gates had $100billion+ in personal, legally acquired wealth, his wealth took a hit in 2000 with the y2k bust and then more as the stock market dropped since a lot of his wealth was in microsoft stock.
