Staking for crowns/range pots/cheese/pumpkins/disks/half wines etc

So I figured this could be kind of an idea for staking among people that trust eachother or involving a middleman?
Like you go to the duel arena, make your rules or whatever, and whoever loses the match will have to sell their valuables for trade price?
Anyone think this can work out?

Well theoretically yes but that is why I suggested the use of an MM if that would even be possible lol

 

He is basically saying you give the item, say blue partyhat to the middle man via trade price. Then you guys duel and record the victory. Who ever is victorious gets to buy the item for trade price.

(This would only work if both parties had 1 of sed item to each trade over to the middleman)

 

People did this with mints It worked quite well actually.

And to of interest I'm looking to stake my crown against someones, I got 2 chars to stake with (79 and 54).

Not if you use a mm, and this wont work in rs. But we can deffinitely do it over sythe

 

Sounds like fun, only problem would be if an MM did not have enough rs cash to do this.

 

Why not when you challenge in duel arena, both put up crown?

I havent touched Duel Arena since 2007

 

Basically you can only stake as much as your trade limit is, which is like 10k for most people =/

I'll work on trying to get a rare since this would be fun .

How are range pots valueable at all? :S
I can almost make them, so i didn't think anyone would really pay anything over the GE price for them?

 

They are being merched atm so people tend to value them at their dump price

 

I think this is an interesting idea. BUt it would only work with low street value items so like crowns and stuff! i dont think anyone would risk looking there wines or phats!
looks like fun and would put excitement back into staking!

 

Go on Youtube and look up "Mint staking". There are a bunch of vids, it's quite entertaining.

Also, this sounds like a good idea. Would be interesting to see how its implementation goes.

 

Definitely interested in this, looks sick. I miss the old arena.
