What can I do to this guy?

Someone in World 1 randomly gave me an account the other day, a really nice one...5 or 6 99's on it. They hoped I would move my partyhat from my current account onto it, which they'd then recover. I knew what he was up to, so I changed his email, set new recoveries, etc. I used a trick to remove the email address automatically, without having to wait 14 days. So then he recovers it as I expected. But I still have the registered email address on it. He's tried to set a new email address twice, but I get an abort code sent to me, which I then use heheh. So my question is, is there anything fun I can do to this guys account with nothing but the registered email address? You can't recover a password with nothing but an email anymore. Maybe if nothing else I can get his account locked somehow? I just want to mess with him for trying to scam me.

 

If he's the original owner he can always recover it, this will just keep going back and forth. Not worth playing with him still.

I recovered my account today using only the email code. Also could you pm me that instant remove email trick, I checked the one in the account thread and it didn't work.

I would recommend you just leave the guy alone. But if you wanted you could just wait a week so he thinks he's safe then recover it and hope he leaves items out

No need to post the same thing 3 times in a row =/. The original owner will eventually get it locked and the email will be reset. There is really no use on trying to recover the account constantly, leave it alone.

Apparently, sythe 'the website' is being attacked so it lags like crazy or you drop out and u get errors. its common now. they are tryna fixi t

 

Don't transfer any cash onto it because he can recover it whenever he wants if it has original IP

 

I don't know if anyone understands that I can't recover the account, all I own is the registered email on it lol. I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to annoy him besides repeatedly cancel his email change requests.

When I try to recover it using an email address, it simply sends a code to my email and then when I enter the code it goes to the normal recovery screen, where I have to put in all the account details. Any idea why that is? I'll make a new guide and PM you the link.

 

I thought it goes, if you have email registered and no recoveries then you can get it back instantly. But my account had recoveries and I still got it back instantly so now I'm not sure.

But if you have is his IP then you can get his location and use other details to recover the account etc

 

He might not have been the original owner...Could have been a hacker just giving it away because he couldn't do anything with it and the original owner recovered it?
But anywho theres nothing you can do really...

 

Email just adds another level of security to an account, but it needs to be an email address with integrity to really matter. This means it needs to be on the account from a long time and the codes need to have been punched in from the IP that created the account.

 

I guess I'll stick to forever cancelling his email change requests.

 

get it banned. i think that's the answer you're looking for.

 

Just annoy him.

+ it will dissuade him from attempting this same scam in the future.
