    Botting Coal

    G'day Sythe,

This thread also relates with rs general but w/e,

I have been botting Coal for quite a while and am continuing to do so. I have about 1.5mil worth at the moment, I'm planning on getting around 8-10 mil before I sell it but. ..

Is the price of coal going up or down?

Should I sell now or sell in a couple of weeks from now?

Also. . . If anyone has any insight to good non-member places to bot that would be great. Currently I get about 50k / hour from coal, Are there any better Non-Member ways of achieving a higher k / hour? Particularly mining? I am currently mining at lummy swamp, banking at draynor.

    Thanks guys!

Have you tried going to Mining guild? it is a good callout but take into consideration that there are a few botters there.

If you're a member with the appropriate mining level, then IRC is your best option.

Mining guild can be good, it all depends on who is botting on what world. Its a popular place, especially for bots. Find an empty world and you'll do fine. Outside of that, there really aren't any specially good spots for coal. For non membs anyways

After all the F2P worlds got merged/removed, it's hard to find a world without bots in the mining guild/dwarven mine resource dungeon. Your lumby swamp area has a lot less competition.

Have you considered the coal mine in low level wilderness just north of edgeville? Yes there can be PKers (but these are rare on low population servers), and yes the skeletons can be a nuisance, but it has the same length bank trip to edgy as the swamp to draynor run, and most importantly HEAPS OF COAL ROCKS WITH ZERO COMPETITION. Litterally nobody mines there.

If you want somewhere safer, Crandor (after dragon slayer) also has absolutely no one there, and is 100% safe, but the bank trip is really, really, really (add 10 more reallys) long.

And as for the price of coal, it's heaps lower than it used to be, and appears to be heading down even more, but if I were you I'd hold out for a few months until it picks back up again to at least 250gp.

coal has been going down this month, i know sinc i bought 300k coal and 50k addy ores for 99 smith in Artisan's workshop at the end of november. I think you should sell now unless you want to hold on to them and wait another month for an increase.

Mining guild is your best bet till you get access to living rock caverns. You can go on RuneScape's official site under community you can find Grand Exchange, click on that search for coal and see it's graph, from that you can know if it is going up or down.

As for other options to earn money f2p, I find that advertising for some clans do bring in great income.

continue where you are. Especially if your bot is handling it well.

As for the price? It's going down. Wait a month or 2 if you can, you'll see a great jump in price (25-100 more than currently)
