I'm more worried about accepting the New Java Certificate because it seems like this will check your computer.

It's kind of sad how Jagex will give botters A WARNING BEFOREHAND and THEN Ban them...

"Track what EVERY SINGLE PLAYER IS DOING"? Don't make me laugh JaGex...
All this is ridiculous really. They're wasting their time with silly little 'games' I think. Just mass ban them instead of investing money into this stupid thing lol...

Nevertheless, thanks for this thread! Quite insightful. Would be nice to hear your opinion though matey :)

Doesn't seem too bad, with being given two chances before being sent there or banned.

Love it haha. I just finished botting all my CB skills so i'm done and i'm not taking anymore risks. Although I do like the update I don't want anyone here to be banned. So be careful guys... Please!

Unrestricted access... seems a little too invasive.

I was just about to say that, its illegal to RAT anyone....but I do have a feeling Jagex is going to monitor us somehow, if not already

The certificate isn't anything to worry about:

Also, I'm not worried even in the slightest. Jagex can't detect the bots I use, so nothing for me to even bat an eyelash at

They seem very confident about there new technology. Regardless, I still think some bots, present or future will be undetectable to the system. Two chances is definitely quite generous too...

It's kind of like a RAT if they're going to be monitoring our personal files. That post Trent! made, though, changed my mind. Thanks for clearing everything up.

It's nothing like a rat. You have to accept that whenever you run a Java applet. Accepting the Java certificate and Jagex's new bot detection / Botany Bat are not even related.

I do think the dragon claw pointing at botters will be neat to see. And this will definitely help get the Runescape community opposed to botters. Whether or not the udpate bans more botters than before, when the legit players see that Botany Bay is always full of someone getting banned, they'll probably be less likely to accuse Jagex of letting botters get away with it.

Around 3:07, he says only one account will be at Botany Bay, others caught botting while the Bay is full will be perm-banned (assuming it's their 3rd offense), and not sent there. I agree that it will be full most of the time.

Seems interesting besides the trial part? They ban you automatically if someones already in trial so I guess the only possible out come of a trial is you being banned?
