"So the first thing you need to know is that there are two kinds of bots.

- Real players using a bot (RP-bots)
- Real World Traders using bots (RWT-bots)

The difference between these two is that a RP-bot is a bot that can probably be trapped using old methods that don't work anymore for the new version of bots.
This explains why you can't trap all those level 3s who mine rune ess at varrock east bank.

The bot programs that RP-bots use to bot in RS are for sale on the internet. The RWT-bots use a newer version that isn't for sale for obvious reasons. If they would sell it online the RWT-bots will be detected much faster because there are more of the same type of bot and RP-bots don't prepare themselves as good for being detected as RWT-bots do.

I'll show you some of the things that can tell you if a level 3 is botting at varrock east bank. (note: if someone has only a few of these it doesn't make him a bot)

- They have names that make no sence for example: L3n38dbd29O0 and are 12 characters long.
- They can't be trapped by using older techniques.
- They don't respond to talking.
- They say Nty when you trade them.
- Their highscores are focussed on one skill for example: mining only for rune ess bots and combat only for green dragon bots.
- They wear a "set" of default clothes and no armour. For example a Warlock top and bottom.
- Their clothes are always on the default colour of a set. For example brown hunter clothes and not purple ones.
- They do not wear the "old" clothes. For example a striped shirt and flared trousers"

Where the hell did they come up with the concept of RP bots and RWT bots??
