Where is your getaway?

Where is your getaway area? After a long day that you would just want to end, where is that one private place in your mind that you want to go to where no one can bother you? What do you do when you are in your getaway area that isolates you from everyone?

My area is my room (preferably my desk)

I'll usually just close out of everything and just put some music on full blast (Most likely Hopsin)

 

I have this place in the woods near my house. I usually take my dog with me whenever I go. It is very peaceful no one else around.

 

It's my bedroom that I usually "log off" the world and responsabilities for a while, of course with the help of music.

 

go walking/running/climbing, leave my frustrations up there

 

A little place called Zoloft.

i.e., I don't really care where I am if I'm both comfortable and medicated.

 

Usually I go for a run. There are some nice trails around me, so that helps to get away from all the noise and people on campus. I don't listen to music while running, strangely enough. I like to run in silence, it helps me clear my mind and think through any issues I might be having

 

My bed.

 

Sleep and get into the lands of dreams, i like to just sleep for a good 12 hours and perhaps take a nap during the day to just reset and relax

 

I take my dog for a walk. Unfortunately I can never shut my brain off and am normally still solving problems/deriving expressions in my head during the walk but it's still nice for fresh air.

 

That's actually my curse as well. I'm constantly unravelling things and figuring them out.

I actually have to be making something or taking something apart to stop myself from falling in to deep depression, which is why I take Zoloft.

 

Pretty much on the same boat, it's either walking or taking a nap for me.

 

I have a enclosed tree stand in the woods around my house which is actually quiet large. If I just want to escape reality for a bit I usually go sit up there with the music blasting and hot box the shit. Lol. I've actually slept over night in it before. I have a extension cord ran up there so I can charge my phone or whatever I need.

not too far from my house, we have an old forest and inside the forest is an old meadow with ancient stone tables and pillars (not kidding lol). i like to go there a lot as the trees filter the sun just right and it's just so tranquile.

For me its the same, desk with music on, helps me get my frustrations out when needed.
