Not too sure if it's the correct section, however I just wanted to share a little bit of my recent holiday experience.

I have been fortuante enough to have visited 6 of the 7 continents, and have visited pretty much all of Europe/Mediterranean, America, South Africa, Middle-east (E.g. Dubai/UAE/Oman etc) Australia, India, and have just finished a cruise round some of Asia.

Just though I would share a couple of the pictures I took on my way. My iPhone has such a shit camera but thought there may be a couple of members who may find some of it nice or interesting. If wanted I can upload proper pictures my Dad took with the Nikon but for now though just a taster might be nice.

    Started in Hong Kong:

Then made my way to Vietnam, visited the north and south:

Also got to feed and play with a tiger cub which was awesome, don't have the pictures on my phone yet though so might add it in.

    Singapore, Singapore:

Possibly the most culturally diverse places I have ever been too. The shanty towns in Ho Chi Minh city one day and a few days later the modern westernized Singapore, really weird.

Awesome experience however, anyone thinking of going backpacking or wants an eye opening visit I would recommend it.

    Thanks for reading :)

Hope you had fun ! The eastern lands are so different, the thing i despise most is the air because I always get sick because of it :(

That's awesome, I've always wanted to go to Hong Kong, New Zealand, Dubai, and Sweden. But so far I've had no luck. If you had to pick one place that you visited to go back too, which one would it be?

Looks nice enough. I know a couple people from school who used to live in Vietnam, and they say it's way better there then in America :p

Planning your trip to Antarctica yet? :)

Yea in a lot of the cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok many people wear the masks as the cities seem constantly foggy because of the high levels of pollution. To live in, a big problem; but visiting for a couple of days and it's not so much of an issue.

Good question. I'm only 18 so there are still a couple of corners of the earth I still want to visit yet :p I go to a lot of the places multiple times, fortunate enough to have 8 holidays a year. However one place which I never get sick of is South Africa as an experience. Avoiding Johannesburg, due to the extortionate crime/murder rates etc... Durban is a lovely place to relax (We have a place there) and normally we tie it in with a 2 week spell in Kruger national reserve. Seen some incredible sights there over the years, I'll show a couple below as an idea as to what it's like. All photos were taken by myself (This time with the Nikon).

Yea smashed the lens on my iPhone :/ Will upload the Nikon photos later today, only just got home :p

Depends what way of life you want. Easy going, stress free with beautiful landscape everywhere, it's Vietnam. But don't expect to make millions of dollars like you could in NY for instance. It's just completely different cultures and it's really nice to be able to experience a bit of other people's ways of life.
And it'll come one day ;)
