Sorting posts in threads

Is there a way to sort the posts on forum threads, to have the first post be on the first page, rather then have to click the last page to view the original first post?

 

Do you mean instead of having to click on the first page from the last page, you wish to always see the first page when entering a thread? You can't sort this with any of the thread tools. If you click on any of the threads that are under the "last post" bit on the website, it will take you to the last post. You can counter this by going inside the forum respective to that thread first, then clicking on the thread you want to visit. It probably takes the same amount of time to complete both actions in individual situations so it really doesn't matter which one you choose.
