My Never Ending Search For An Mmo Like This

okay. so what im looking for, is basicly a action mmo. that you join gamerooms, ect.

i want it to be where you can buy upgrades. ect. level/rank up.

i want it to be sort of like street fighter ina way. or racing.(like mariokart) or even like gunz.

How about robot rage? i remember i use to play that game before i found runescape. Basically you build a robot and challenge people with it in the online lobby that they have. You gather up points and with the points you can buy other upgrades for your robot. Not sure if it's still up but it's worth a shot.

 

You could get need for speed or burnout and play it online with or without a console. I'd also recommend dota, it's a good MMO but once the match is finished, character progression is not saved but it's good and fun.
