Bottom advertisement spaces

I'm not sure if this has been suggested or not, couldn't find it in the denied suggestions so i'll go ahead and suggest it.

It's come to my attention that the current two bottom advertisement slots are able to me moved over the the left of the bottom portion of the advertising space, and still have enough space for two more advertisement spots on the right hand side of the bottom of the site.

This would increase the monthly renting space revenue at least 20% depending on what the cost for the bottom monthly renting is, i only know the top renting cost. On another note i see no down side to it except for maybe a bit of lag which could be fixed if it were to happen.

I'm sure a bit of people will not care for the clutter look, but in my opinion it still looks fine, people use sythe to trade or for help from other users, not to look at fine art.

I would personally prefer not to see more ad's but if it helps generate more money to keep sythe going its a good thing i guess.

Making more ad space will make ad space cheaper. Therefore Sythe won't generate more money by making more ad space. UNLESS there is a huge demand.

 

As stated above: Hypothetically speaking, I have an ad I want to put up on Sythe, there is no shit show I'd ever purchase an ad at the bottom of the forum clustered with another 3 ads side by side.

They companies want their ads to stick out, and having them next to 3 other .gif ad's, people won't even look; it literally hurts your eyes. Although it is not for us to say this is right or wrong, it's ultimately Big Rich/Matthews decision

 

I'm not sure what you mean by the prices would be lowered considering when you rent an ad space you get what you pay for. In this case your paying for a certain size ad which stays the same a certain location either top or bottom which stays the same and the amount of visitors the site gets that have the potential to become customers which also stays the same.


I highly doubt when considering to rent an ad space people are worried about the other ads as long as people can still have the same chance to see their ads. If you scroll to the bottom whether its 2 or 4 ads you will notice them just the same. I also don't think it looks cluttered at all just looks like the space was used to fill in the black on the sides

 

If it comes to a point where Richard needs to sell additional adspace to pay for the website, I'm sure he'll consider this. As far as I know he isn't looking to open up new adspaces, rather he's trying to get the ones that are open sold (which appears to have happened now). So we're fine.
