Is it even possible to bot WC to 99?

This looks like a silly question -- of course autoing WC to 99 is theoretically possible, and I certainly believe those who have managed to do it. However, I remain extremely skeptical about the probability of this.

My experience in wc'ing is that you can only bot a couple of hours a day, and frequent observation of the bot's process is needed. Or is it just me? Am I the only one who, after the start of every botting session, gets the Schoolhouse Random always within two hours or so? Always. Each and every time.

It seems perfectly possible to bot any other skill to 99, but Woodcutting is apparently a completely different case. Mining, Fishing, Cooking, Combat and whatnot scripts can probably be run for days with or without break handlers and everything can run smoothly, but the lumberjacks always get the cute little quizzies of the cute little demon teacher. I wouldn't go hand-to-hand with this pattern.. Well fuck you, Mr Mordaut, and fuck your shit.

 

i got to 85 so dunno, but i had to keep checking every now and then because classroom random is very often at wc.

I use Chopniak Script and It's great, I personally think. There are no people there and I don't know I did not have any school random from 75-80.
I think it's based on luck and it's all depends on what script your using. Some scripts take way to long to find the tree, they keep spinning camera back and forth and moving until you hit the tree which tends to be so complicated it's crazy.

Hmmh. So can this phenomenon be peculiar to those who cut Draynor willows with a more or less crappy script? That would change everything. Does anyone have knowledge of just how sophisticated the system by which random events appear to the player is?

 

It's random that is why it's called Random-event. It has nothing to do with what level your woodcutting is at or what tree your cutting, I'm highly sure of that. I can assure you that there will be times where you won't get The demon School Even for days it's just random that way.
I wouldn't give up hope on it just because of this random event, I'm sure there are people already working on a
"flawless" script that will bypass the Demon School event, be prepared to pay big $Bucks$ for it.

 

Iv'e botted 99 wc twice it's quite easy just do draynor willows.

 

Well ok then, I'll keep trying. I'll run it overnight but if in the morning I see that I've managed to cut just 2 loads of willows, I shall regard it as a divine intervention urging me to stop RS and start living a life of asceticism in the wilderness of Lapland.

 

Just cut teaks on ape atol. You don't get randoms while you are a monkey so no problem.

 

I doubt that you got the school house random EVERY time, but I guess it's possible that you are just incredibly unlucky.

Don't give up. Eventually you'll get a good run in and then you'll want to keep going. It takes time, so just give it time and you'll be good.

 

im at 88 right now...Actually I haven't gotten the schoolhouse on that account yet at all...

 

im at 94 right now and have had 1 10 day ban, and i get the school house random almost every 6 hours, quite a nuisance i must say.

Of course its possible, just make sure you find a good script and dont bot more then 8-10 hours a day and you should be alrite.

 

Yes it's very possible just check up on the bot every 1 hour to see if you got into a random that stopped your script or something. It's better to auto when your near the computer then when yo are away from it.

 

use scar, ever random has been solved, including the school one... you really shouldnt get banned if u include sleeps, breaks and auto responders.

I knew a person who got 99 wc and was in the top 1000 and botted the whole thing. This was last year in 2008 though, but yea
