Can you still recover an account that has an email set?

So an old account of mine is apparantly being used by someone else.

How can I recover it without knowing the e-mail he set on it?

I remember you could just fail all the attempts and still get to the appeal form.
Unfortunately that no longer seems to work.

 

I don't know if there's a specific way, but e-mail [email protected]. Act as if you're a concerned parent and your son is trying to get his stolen account back. They will remove the e-mail for you so that you can get to your recovery form... It may take a day or two, but it'll work.

 

I still know my original password, ISP etc and some membership info.

Must be a way to appeal form on the site right?

 

You would think so, but I really don't know how. If you do happen to e-mail [email protected] as a concerned parent and plead to them that your son needs to get his account back, they'll remove the e-mail that is set so you can reach your recovery form and enter all of that information. Otherwise, maybe somebody else knows how to reach that recovery form a different way.

 

If you have access to the account you can post an email removal on the forums, not not you can email [email protected] - tell them you no longer have the password to your email and you need it reset, along with your request include recoveries, ISP, date created, membership, etc.

 

If u go under the bar where it gives you the option to login and press "forgot password" you will be put up on a site where you write in your recovery information such as first 3 pw and all that.

 

You won't if the account has a recovery email set.

Email them from the email you had registered on your account and tell them the account is stolen or w/e and they will lock the account and you will get to "forget password" and enter your old info.

 

go to the runescape official forums and go to the account help section. then go to "help recovering an account" explain your situation and they should lock it and let you manually recover it.

 

I have had experience recovering my old account that had my old e-mail address connected to it (which I can't find the password for). I sent all the information I had about the account and I got access back.
