Whats your worst habit? (no drugs/computer)

My second part to this is: What is your worst habit? How did your overcome it?

Mine would be biting my nails. It's a nervous habit, and surprisingly I've been clean for about 36 days and my nails are finally growing for the first time in 20 years.

I've always been aware of it even when I started to get nervous and bite them, but it was something I couldn't resist. One thing, is when ever I used to bite my nails, I knew it meant I was nervous, so my goal was to counteract it and think positive and forget about the nervous thoughts. Often times, when it comes to depression, nervousness, it's more about learning to recognize when you feel those emotions so that you can acknowledge and change your thinking pattern.

So, as I stated above.... "What is your WORST habit. Also, if you've overcame it, how did you do it?"

 

Smoking for sure. Haven't overcame it.

Since when is tobacco a drug?

Logging on facebook all the time on phone is my strong and worst habit lol

 

Smoking is my worst habbit, and to top it I bite my cheeks as well. (I don't mean my ass cheeks) So I am more receptive to abnormal growth rates (AKA Cancer). I have not overcome it.

 

Tobacco is one of the most addictive drugs there is, except methamphetamine. Just bcz it's legal, doesn't mean it's not a drug.

I used to bite my cheeks. It's very similar to biting nails. However, I think I've overcome both now that I'm off drugs. Feels really good! I used to bite my cheeks so bad, I could feel the white lumps on them. Felt 10x bigger than what they really were. I would sometimes take my nail or something sharp, and scrape away the excess flesh that I've chewed off.

 

Holding on to my money instead of buying things. I'm still 18 living at home until college next year, and when you make $350 every 2 weeks alone from work (plus I make it other ways) It's hard not to buy anything when you work so hard to get it.

 

Scratching my head. It has gotten to the point I do it everywhere. It just feels like something is always there (no, it is not lice!) even though there isn't. Also, it just feels so good. Something more psychological than physical. People call me a dog sometimes lol.

 

Smoking, by far.

If not that, over thinking certain things too much.

Oh and, having a dismal Uni attendance and being so lazy in regards to it lol.

 

definitely biting my nails. I've also been told I have a voice for acting, so I like to practice my voice sometimes by rehearsing lines from books or something I read, and he see where I went wrong. I know that sounds weird, but whatever, haha.

 

Clicking neck & fingers. Inb4 arthritis. Trying to stop it but it's an unconscious act so I always kick myself after it happens.

Do you mean addicted to spending money? I don't see how someone could be addicted to money itself.

 

Heroin / sugar is probably more addictive than either meth or tobacco

 

Smoking... that shit is Expensive..

For me it's likely checking my phone too often. It seems like I'm constantly checking my phone/emails while out.

Another bad habit would be leaving messes everywhere I go. I hate laundry - LOL.

 

Procrastinating everything lol.
