Hello. This thread is not begging, or asking for donations. No, because that's not earnt. I have bought a car, and the insurance is $19,000 (£11,800).

Originally, I planned on having a 1.0 Suzuki Swift, but my insurance quote was £7000. I thought that was ridiculous, so I wondered how much this car I saw would be. Yeah, it ended up being £4,800 more. This is nearly half as much again, but I think well worth it. It's a 3.2L Porsche.



What I will be doing to earn the cash
~ Working. What I do. Farming. A steady cash flow, should earn me about £2000/£11,800
~ Botting. I have a botting thread, HERE
~ Questing HERE
~ Selling GFX. I suck, I know, but cheap standard thread layouts aren't too bad ;D
~ Selling all the RSGP I make botting my pure and skiller, which will be sold at the end
~ Pretty much anything I can think of

I'm not saying that you SHOULD use me, it'd just be appreciative, as it's a goal that I would really like to reach, personally. If you are wondering, the car was less than £6000.

You bought that car? How did you afford it?

 

I bought it cheap at an auction. It was an ex cosmetic write off, but I managed to knock the panels back as we hire our shed out to some mechanics, they fixed the bumpers for free.

Insurance kills all young male drivers in England. I can't access my main bank account until I'm 18, and I can drive at 17. Luckily I have about £1000 left in my normal account.

I got the car by working for my dad selling tractors, I get 10% commission of the profits. Trade is slow at the moment though :/

WOW, that's a crazy price for insurance.

I thought I was getting ripped off when I was paying about $200 a month for insurance in the US (and even with 1 accident against me on my record!).

Good luck, nonetheless. That is a nice looking car you snagged.

Well good luck on your goal that is a hefty huge amount of insurance I mean wow that's as much as a used Boxster itself.

I'll see if I can help you in any way but it will be a long time if you only use these services. Do you need to pay the insurance soon or do you have all the time you need? Oh silly me just read the topic title. 8 months is pretty extreme, you might have to expand your options for that much.

You could start your own business of some sort, not like a huge business but something you can do from your home or find stuff around your house and sell it on eBay. You never know how much you can get.

Yeah my insurance is no more than about $250, I drive a 2010 Honda Civic which I bought brand new for $18,500, haven't gotten in an accident yet so my insurance hasn't been that bad.

GL haha, $19,000 in 8 months is absurd for insurance, don't get in any accidents lol

 

I'm insured on 5 out of the 7 cars in my driveway and it is no where near what you are paying. That seems like a ridiculously high amount to pay for insurance. Good luck getting the money, hopefully you can pay.

My dads one of these they wanted £8000 to insure, which is $12,900.

Nope, just one year. England is insane for this, it's too get young drivers off the road. However, If I was female, it would be about $10,000 total. :/

Wow dude insurance is crazy in England. :O You could literally buy a new car for that... Insurance in Canada, depending on your age/gender/record etc, would likely be $500 a month for a car like that at your age. I wish you the bets of luck getting the funds man!
