What's your opinion on when you die?

How do you have any idea that we are at the peak of technology? I'm sure they assumed that many years ago as well, and you can't sya for a fact we are at the peak of technology.
Also, I am obviously in the correct section because i'm disputing you and you can't comprehend what i'm even suggesting. Your claiming this has anything to do with your heart, but your heart is unrelated to the subject, and you keep referencing it. It's great that you can write 3 sentences, but can you actually comprehend something that is incomprehensible? No, because thats exactly what this topic is.

 

Jesse, your trying to make a point through false claims. We are NOT at the peak of technology. If we were, then we wouldn't be making hydrogen cars, or using different weaponry in the military. A soul was developed through egyptian ideals and can never be proven. The idea of a soul is the essence inside of us that gives us pure vitality. How can this be detected? It is a matter of spiritual belief and understanding. You can not prove if a soul exists, and will not because it is a super-natural being. We have yet to reach even close to the peak of technology. You can not say this without knowing your facts.

 

I dont know, but I think that there has to more than just becoming worm food.

 

Death will be the end of your ability to be a human and enjoy this world. It's like going to sleep and knowing you will not wake up. I think knowing you will die is fine if you have done a lot with your life.

 

Well my theory is that your soul will eb trapped inside of your body when u die. Idk what will happen if deceased body are cremated.

 

Can you explain how you came to the reasoning that our souls remain confined or detained inside of our bodies?

 

Well, Im catholic, and im forced to believe in reincarnation.

I think that when we die, we are put into a grave and our souls are lifted into heaven. And when the time is ready we will be brought back onto the earth.

The Bible never mentions souls. That's an Egyptian/Greek idea.

It's actually not a theory. It's not even a hypothesis. It's what's known in philosophical circles as a "dummy hypothesis", one that cannot be disproved.

Catholics do not believe in reincarnation that is completely opposite from
what catholics believe

 

Yea.. I would agree with the guy that said "Why doesn't someone test this theory" but then we'd have to wait another 13-18 years and hope that you get reincarnated and don't rot in the ground.

 

How the heck do you test the theory if being re-incarnated means you don't remember anything of your past life! That's like me saying: "Oh I wonder if there's a heaven. I'll do commit suicide to see if there's a heaven"

OK there are only a couple things that will for certain happen...

1) You die and its just (GAME OVER) -Athiest-
2) You die and reborn into someone else
3) religion-Christ-
4) You die and your just a soul wondering around

There really nothing else except those options for a human being can think of

 

Humans can think of anything, example (I don't think this) when you die you apear in a place that is all white and you are in human form.

They are just opinions as long as they havn't been proven, maybe the one I stated is correct. My opinion is that we will never have proof.

I would have to disagree.... about christ it says in the bible, i dont know the exact words but it goes along the lines of the "pain is beyond human imagination"

 

Well some people beleive in that and some don't, nothing sais that the bible is false or true. Personaly I don't have a religion.

 

I think it is like when you sleep, you have no control, you don't see anything unless you dream (which you won't if dead...)
