Turning my gmauler into a main, advice?

So I prefer my obby mauler for pking so I want to turn my gmauler into a main and have already been working on the transition process. I'm really out of the loop since I haven't actually played RS seriously since last summer probably and haven't made a main in years. Here are my stats as I write this thread:

50 Att
66 Str
25 Def
77 Range
64 Mage
25 Pray

As for quests I haven't really done much.. Animal Magnetism, Horror from the Deep, and the prereqs basically.

So my question is where do I go from here? I'm working on 40 def right now which should be done by the end of the hour. Other than that, where should I start? Should I do certain quests first, should I train a certain skill to a certain level first? What weapons/armor should I use and switch to when I reach a certain level. My end goal at this point is to get even 80s in all cb skills.

Any help would be appreciated

 

do the quests that give a shitload of def exp, attack exp if you didnt quest the attack. then you just gotta train to 70/70/70 and start nmz or slayer to level up your meeles. the range is good for now (can always chin) and the magic is kinda low. maybe alch?

Quest your account for levels then start training so you don't waste any time. Look up a zerker guide they usually tell you the def quests that will help you.

Your top priority should be to quest to barrows gloves ASAP as it'll unlock a ton of essential content and naturally level up the majority of your skills through either xp rewards or training to meet quest requirements. It's designed to be zerker-friendly though, so you might want to swap out some of the quests for others like Slug Menace (proselyte armor), King's Ransom (piety), Fremennik Isles (Neitiznot helm), etc. that are useful to have done on a main. I would also recommend unlocking transportation methods like spirit trees and fairy rings early on as they will help tremendously with completing the other quests and just travel in general. It'd also be a good idea to get overheads as soon as you can.

Afterwards, I would suggest looking into grinding out slayer - it's one of the most valuable skills to have at a high level, is a very efficient way to train combat stats, and can be decently profitable. I believe it's efficient to start at 83/83/83 melee stats if you're going for 99, so you could do NMZ until that point or just get started earlier.

 

Sorry, not here to hijack your thread Hamouze, but what is so special about 83/83/83? There is no special armor or weapon you can get at those levels that I know of

 

It would be efficient in the sense that you would ideally reach 99 melees at the same time as 99 slayer. Not sure if the exact number of 83 is accurate (and there will also be some variation due to cannon hits, skipped/blocked tasks, etc.), but it doesn't seem too unreasonable of a starting point for that to happen.
