New Soloman's Store items already

Does anyone actually like Soloman's store? They already added new items and it seems to me like Jagex is just crashing

 

I like it more than the Squeal of Fortune. In my opinion they are trying to make as much money of a dead game as they can.

 

There's a lot of games that have vanity stores like this. Stop complaining about it honestly. It's a way they can wrack in extra cash without it actually having ANY effect at all on the gameplay.

 

But then again, Lots of people play Runescape because it wasn't like other games. It dared to be 'boring' with lots of grinding and had 'crappy' gfx, but stood out with the amazing community and hours of gameplay you could put into it. It's true when people say Jagex kinda lost it's way. But then again, I see no way of fixing this now so yea, the best thing they can do is continue down the road they've chosen

 

This is true. People have been like 'Jagex is just trying to be like every other game, they're a company' but if I remember correctly I started playing RuneScape because of the variety of skills, the click and wait combat, and the (what used to be) cool community that was different for all of the other games out at the time. People forget that RuneScape used to not be every other game and try to rationalize the changes. I guess it proves that originality is impossible. Honestly though I haven't logged in for well over 3 months. The game just isn't like it was.

 

Still not convinced on why I should pay irl cash for an emote

 

nothing in solomans store helps anyone out futhering themselves in the game whatsoever unlike the SoF i dont see what the big deal is. if people are stupid enough to buy bs like what is offered for irl money let them go ahead, ive always felt the same way about rares and rwt. my main issue with the microtransactions is that they are offering lamps on SoF. ill check out this new stuff on solomans though

 

I've seen a few people purchase the assassins outfit, which is around $30 usd. Looks terrible imo also. Seen a few people grab the unique teleports, the way I see it is it just makes your teleports take like 3 times as long.

It's 10 x better than the squeal, and it doesn't harm the game, it helps it because it funds adverts so new members can i join, where as squeal ruins economy slightly and makes money IRL effect XP
