    confused about ban
    yoo guys so i got an email saying my account has been perm banned for macroing and i checked my account but it wasnt banned not rollbacked anything. I have gotten spam ban emails before but they always go to my junk folder but this one didnt go to my junk folder so im just wondering and it seemed legit i didnt click on the link in the email so if it was a phisher i dont think im screwed

    confused about ban
    thing is fagex knows my email cos i lost my password before and before they found out my email the spam ban emails used to go to junk but this one came to my normal inbox so i was a bit worried :S

    Likely to be a phishing e-mail. They can look very real.

    It WAS a phishing email. Jagex DOES NOT email you about any type of bans/mutes. They use the message system on the website.

    and phishing emails dont harm unless you click on the link right?

    Phishing links are NOT viruses. Clicking the link will not infect you (assuming its JUST a phishing website).

    It is simply a fake website, that will gather all the information that you type.
