Since the intel core is better for games, I'd say that one should have the best performance :)

That's bad advice -.- I have an 8150 and 8120, both run 7 simba bots not OC'd. I got to 12 on my 8150 but need better cooling, stable at 10, and my 8120 is stable at 9. The 2500k is better price range than the 8150, and honestly the 8150 just isn't worth it, if I spend $100 more on cooling I guess it'll be worth it though. Regarding the 2500k, I'm not sure how many it can handle, but I've seen reports of 5-8, it is of course better for gaming though.

Oh, and this is ignoring the issues with fx and mobos.. I've had so many bsod issues with my 8150 and extreme3.. The 8120 fared better, but temps and power usage are even worse than the 50.

I've gone with AMD for both my current botting rigs and am very happy with that decision.

2500k will wipe the floor with any current AMD processor. Bulldozer is seen as a step down from the previous generation.
