whats the probability of being banned buying gold?

I wanna buy gold for rs3, whats the probability of being banned?

 

normally (from my experience) gold buyers never get banned. Jagex always goes after the sellers instead.

 

I've personally never been banned when buying, only selling.

 

Almost 0 for buyers.

 

guys ive got banned for buying gold in the past .
and till now my account banned and got on him around 100m.
so there always chance that buyer get banned.

 

A ban can always occur when rwting but if you're just a buyer who buys every once in awhile i wouldn't worry at all if i were you

its not MUST sometime they ban sometime no , when ur IP infected it meter

 

I feel as if jagex leaves gold buyers alone and just targets the sellers.

 

So here some information you should take into account before buying gold. I had been buying gold in little bits of gold at a time over a few years. sometimes. And i stopped buying for 1 year and now my account has been perm banned. Because they don't ban you straight away Doesn't mean they won't get you later... Once they find the account that traded you the gold they have to go threw all there trades i believe and that's how they find you. Because you ain't got banned now.... Doesn't mean you won't receive a message like i did a year later saying your banned for something you did a year before.

 

Been buying gold on my main since the start of runescape (i was 13) am 24 now. ive bought 100m-1b and all the numbers inbetween, ive also sold 500m+ and never received any bans for real world trading. IMO the risk is VERY low.

 

I got banned for stake trading 1b years back on a lvl 120.

They do investigate, if they see you traded a massive amount of gold to someone in a different location than you get flagged for a manual review.

Also, I know a few other people that have been banned for selling gold, never buying tho.

 

Iv been Selling gold on lvl 3s and buying gold on those same lvl 3s for years. Have been banned 3 or so times. No biggie, Hope for the best Prepare for the worst. IMHO they go for volume sellers, and buyers have very slim chances of getting banned due to the amount of buyers actually exist in the game (75%+ of total players)

 

chances of you getting banned are so slim. you should be fine, they don't want buyers they want sellers.

 

buying is slim if is low amounts, the big amounts is where jagex does investigation, cause no1 can keep selling in small volume unless his good

 

Chances of getting banned for buying gold are slim to none if you're using a non-fresh lvl3 account.

Don't look like a mule who trades multiple times with all different people and changes IP all the time, and you will be fine.
