whats the point of SVU?

i got scammed by a SVU and all that happened was that they got banned just like anyone else who isn't a SVU would.

so whats the point? it just seems like a way to buy trust and then break it by scamming a large transaction. All this with no real repercussions at all.

please allow us to see the personal information of SVU who scam or there is no reason for this status.

 

google next time pls. if your scam report is legitimate, there will be repercussions for the svu member.

 

Does an SVU mean that people can be held liable legally? Has something like this ever worked?

 

hes already banned. like 3 other people reported him too after that night. i assume no action was taken against him besides the ban.

and why would he care about losing 25$ when he scammed more than 100 before he got banned. what is sythe going to do? send him a mean text?? wtf

seems like sythe doesnt care about how safe its markets are as long as they can get their 25$

 

For it to be dealt with legally, it has to be over a certain amount of value, here in Australia I believe it's around $3,000 , nothing can be done otherwise. SVU doesn't necessarily mean the person won't scam OP, take precautions no matter what ranks they might hold.

I'll try to clarify the SVU issue you have addressed. Our current policy is outlined in the User Center > Sythe Verified Common Questions page. View this specifically.



However, a new policy is being developed; the new policy will state that users can request personal information if they have been scammed by Sythe verified users. Of course, this new system is still in development and it will take time for this to be implemented. Until then, we preach to all users: determine whether or not you trust a user based off of the quality of their vouches.
