I personally would go on quality of vouches. For example I would trade off 20 of my pin vouches to get 5 more phat MMs or trades. I think the amount of money traded is a better overall indication of reputable trading.

I would say the amount of money dealt with on sythe, but most people only glance at the amount of vouches someone has.

Both. A decent amount of money has been handled, plus a decent amount of vouches.

This definitely would have to be determined and would vary depending on,
What are the vouches for Example - 1-20 mining wouldn't be considered a Trustful vouche
Nor would: I bought botting service for $.50.

I feel if they have a decent amount of vouches for work/trades would have to some value on either side, such as a account with like a 99 stat or 20m+ on the account,
But again everyone has a gut feeling and also how the interaction with the consumer of product/service.

so... final decision really it depends lol

Vouches in my opinion, the more vouches the more trades have gone well.

To be honest they are pretty well linked. Obviously as vouches go up, so does amount traded on sythe. You need a even balance in my opinion. If say one person has sold 10b to someone, so only the one vouch but $5000 traded on sythe, it does not prove that they are trustworthy, they could have just come here to sell their gold then thats them done and they try to scam on the way out. If someone has 200 vouches but all for say skill training then it's not sensible to go first to them when selling GP in a big quantity. I base my trust in the ways of GP depending howmany times people have gone first to them when buying a bigger amount than I am. But there really is no set answer to this as they both affect each other.

Well in this dady and age i would say amount traded is more important as there is no point in having hundreds of vouches if you have only traded $100.

However vouches are better in someway as it proves you are very loyal to sythe as you have gone through lots of trades successful.

It also depends who the vouches are from aswell i suppose.

None specific, but I'd rather have more small trades to be honest, WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

Don't ask me why. Anyhow the people I'd go first in this forum are practically very low numbered.

Combination of both, quantity of vouches is important, but so is the size of trades. You could easily gather up 100 or so 1-10$ trades just to wait on that big trade to scam. so i think a decent amount of vouches with some fairly large amount trades is the happy medium. but if it came down to 100 vouches of 1-50 dollars each vs 30 trades of all 100$ plus i'd take the 30 vouch guy

I'd say the amount of vouches, because that's what you look at first. There are a few cases where people don't have many vouches but have traded a huge amount overall (recently i have seen 500.000$ on someones vouch thread which is quite impressive btw) where i could take the person as trusted, but overall it is the vouch count that counts.

What's More Important These Days, # of Vouches, or Total $ Traded?

Well it depends on who went first, If everyone Bob traded went first to him but Max went first to everyone else, I would think Bob is more trustworthy.

What's More Important These Days, # of Vouches, or Total $ Traded?

I think it should depend on both.
For example: Bobby joined today and did a trade worth 1000$ with another person who joined today. On the other hand; Billy has been on sythe for many years and has done 150 trades totalling to 1000$.
IMO, I would go for Billy, because he has had way more opportunity to scam and hasn't, and I wouldn't go for Bobby, because he could just do one large trade to gain "trust" then the next trade, scam you for everything...
