Whats more fun on OSRS?

I'm going to make my account member and start playing OSRS on it. I'm debating if I should make it a pure or just a main. Whats more fun to play? I'm going to play legit and bot a little bit but safely (I know the risk). I've never done any member quests before so thats the only part i'm worried about. If I do make a pure, whats the most fun/effective one to PK with? I'm looking for peoples opinions, so thanks!

 

This is just my opinion, but basically if you want some fun I would suggest going the "Main" pathway since the newer updates are mostly focused towards them, such as the achievement diarys (sort of), and the new snake boss. Pures might be able to do these, but they are most likely limited to the full content.

If you go the "Pure" route, your account would be mostly used for pking. Based on my experience with a pure that I made, I used it for pking most of the time, but I also joined a pure clan with weekly events. The amount of fun you'll have being in a clan is solely based on the clan's community. You could try attempting bossing, but it will be extremely harder to survive on a pure rather than a main.

My suggestion is to go the pure way first, since you can always turn it into a main anytime you'd like when it starts getting stale for you. As for the different type of pure builds, google some and choose the one that seems right for you. My pure account started as a 1 defense pure, but soon became an initiate pure with 70 attack before godswords were released. Hoped this helped

 

I would go for a main. It takes much longer, however in the long run it pays off with the significant amount of content you have access to than compared to a pure.

A pure can be fun but it is limited, just like famoos said.

 

Currently deciding between a zerk pure, Dher, and main. Honestly I think I'm gunna do what above people are saying and start with zerk then progress through. Main reason I wanted main was cuz I feel too lazy to train that much so I wanted to nmz lol. 1 def pure isn't too fun for me honestly but it is much faster to make

I think i decided I'm going to make a low level range pure for a while and then when that gets boring, turn it into a zerker, then a range pure then finally a main. Just bought my membership and questing now.

I would go for a main.
I've had a bunch of pures and eventually they get boring, I now have a main and enjoy the game much more because you simply have more content.

Edit: You can always start as a pure and when the time comes you can still turn it into a zerk or main.

I think an all around main is the way to go. Get to enjoy everything, not only pvp lol.
