virus on my computer and its running shitty [paying for help]

Yesterday was the probably the worst day for my computer i downloaded a virus and i fucked up its settings.

i was trying to make a private server and i guess i downloaded one which had a virus, i need to know of a virus cleaner that works for free for 30days or something.

ALSO

i changed it settings because the TUT on moparscape.org told me to.
heres what i did

my computer
view system information
advanced
envirnmental variablities
then i changed this thing called PATH to something with the JDK v6

You can download a torrent and get nod32 for free that should get it off also you can do a system recovory but that will erase eveything and i dont know if you want to do that.

 

Don't worry about the variables for CLASS, they're only for enabling JDK.. (correct me if I'm wrong though)

Can you give me a picture of your processes in Task Manager? The virus may show in there.

This is what I'm going to need a picture of, CTRL+alt+delete - task manager, processes tab.


As for getting a Anti-Virus trial, try the AVG trial.

By the way, keep your 15$, you shouldn't pay anybody to do simple things, such as finding a virus.

Try Spybot SE, That's what i used when i got some stupid thing from mopar.

 

Spybot Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware would probably delete it.

 

3RD Party Tools know as SmitFraudFix has always worked wonders for me. But, if you know the name of the virus that could make matters easier. For instance, if it the Vundo.W32 virus you can use the third-party tool called VundoFix to remove it. Just find the name of the virus and google it if there is a way to remove it, it will tell you.

 

I use HijackTHIS, but becareful whenusing. I suggest scanning and posting the results here or find a Hijackthis Forum spacificaly used for helping users.

Hijackthis, i believe, is the best way to go. (if you know what you are doing)
