Doesn't anyone think that these ridiculous leaves on sythe should not be allowed?

I think if you are going to do a "never coming back thread" you should be banned for at least 2 months. It's a retarded cry for attention and quite frankly it never ends up with them actually leaving.

Also, I made that "i'm going to sleep" just as an indirect protest to this. I was not expecting it to get locked, however it happened anyway.

    What i'm proposing:

You can't say good bye for 2-3 days unless you are doing a lot of business here. That should be left to the spam forum.

If you are doing business here, then why not leave it in your signature that you're going away for a while?

If you are going to leave indefinitely, then do so. Don't make a thread saying you are doing it just so you can see who is going to say goodbye and who is going to make fun of you. That's a cry for attention and quite frankly really annoying an immature.

You should not vie for attention and be so needy that you must make a ragequit thread.

A moderator should ban for at least 1-2 months if someone is going to "leave indefinitely". That is fair, and why should anyone care? Give them some time to finish up their final business around here and go away for a while. If they choose to come back after that, then they should.

Necro, this is not aimed as a personal attack either. I have nothing against you, this just caught my eye and it is honestly annoying to the community.

People always ragequit then come back

Maybe not 1-2 months, but I'd support at least a week. It's very annoying.. Hell every other week I see a rage quit thread.. Then like a day later, they are back. Pulling a necro is what I think the kids are calling it..

It's annoying, but it's definitely not ban worthy.

    I understand.

It's not really malicious or harmful to the community in anyway anyways. Just annoying...on the contrary we would lose some good members because they had a day of doubt and ragequit. That wouldnt' be good.

I agree, it is extremely annoying. I'd support if it were just an infraction.

I honestly dont care, why should you? The only threads I click are the ones of me selling stuff, not the 80% of sythe 12 year olds and they need attention.

Exactly. You know what also annoys me? People who create threads about things that aren't malicious, aren't urgent, and aren't necessary because they can simply ignore it.

Then you are just here for the market and could care less of anything else in the community. Why would we care about your input?

This is dramatic and isn't malicious or harmful as I mentioned. Still people shouldn't do it, it's really annoying.

If you see a reputable and well-known member just quitting for the hell of it and not leaving, isn't that kind of annoying?

Of course it's annoying. It's annoying like flies are annoying. However if I spent all my time swatting the flies that keep buzzing around during my house during this damned hot summer, I'd have no time to enjoy myself.

I'm glad you're expressing that this irritates you, but you seem so overzealous with these things that it's becoming an annoyance in it of itself.

I was suggesting that they be banned? How is that over - zealous?

When a person just does this so everyone says good bye to them, and you do too, then they come back like it's ok? That isn't annoying to you?

    Please, ragequit my thread.

Agreed. Half of the "E Rage; E Quit" OPs are trying to be attention whores.

If it's being done excessively, then an infraction is warranted.
