whats better for gaming?

I have about 900-950 on buying a gaming laptop

yes i know desktop is better for gaming but im going to be moving alot and i cant haul around a desktop so im in a pickle on what i should get

You should really look into mini desktop builds
There are small cases that are not that bad to carry around, and it would be worth 100% more to buy one.

or simialir, they make a bunch of diff ideapads. i think this one is outof stock cuz they made a newer one. but i have this one personally. its amazing. you can remove the graphics cards( it comes with 2) and put something else in its slot like a blueray burner, cd player or whatever.

The Lenovo y510p is your best bet at that price range for sure. (it's also the one boatswain is referring to)

If you're willing to drop a few bucks more go with the msi gt70 dominator 895. It has an 870m and the i7 4800qm for 1399.
