I don't really know, but if I were Sythe right now, I would start thinking on whether or not vB is really worth it currently (Sorry but it's true), just need a post/thread converter and everything would be fine .

Please Discuss Your Opinions about it. Please do not post if you don't know what phpBB,vB,IPB or Jive is, prices, or what exploits are.

 

vBulletin is better, but not for the price.

If for nothing else, the customer support and the free stuff available once you have it.

 

I think Vbulletin is better then phpBB2 maybe, but phpBB3 is a lot better then Vbulletin.

 

phpBB will never beat vBulletin. Once you go vBulletin you never go back

I remember I really hated vBulletin when we converted, now I hate phpBB forums.

Sythe doesn't pay an ongoing cost for vB. He bought a lifetime license, i believe.

 

He sure did, PHPBB is old school now anyway. It's one of those 'start-off' forums you know. vBulletin is for the experts, lul.

Nah, but vB is alot better that PHPBB >_>
