whats a golden cracker?

Everyone gets one.

It's like a "reward" for Jagex's community, for helping them win "The Golden Joystick" or something like that.

 

What can you do with it? Trade it? Open it?

 

has destory option, so cant be traded.
you open to get a golden hammer, which only use is for smithing on f2p. cause u can weild it and it free's one spot for a bar..

 

It's like a Christmas Cracker, though it's non-tradable. You open it on someone and you get a Golden Hammer. It's because Jagex won the Golden Joystick awards for 2009-2010.

Would suck if somebody opened a real cracker by accident ._.

Though, I can see some stupid people keeping this thinking it will be worth a ton in the future

Interesting, what does the hammer do?

 

Everyone is posting threads about this on different forums...how about looking at the RS home page, or searching the RSOF, or asking players in game..aka just using some common sense..?

You can smith stuff while wielding the hammer, so basically it just saves you one inventory space while smithing (as you don't need a regular hammer in your invent).

 

Dang lol I had my hopes up for a p hat and cracker and p hat crashes.

 

yeah this thread is useless, it's obvious what it does.
especially when you log in to Runescape and a million people are talking about it.

Yeah i opened mine and some kid came out of nowhere saying "OMFG DUDE WHY'D YOU OPEN IT, I COULD BE WORTH BILLS IN THE FUTURE!??!?!"
